I would consider myself a beginner at this trade, so I learn as I go. I've started this game dev endeavor 5 1/2 years ago, and starting to give it more focus about 2 1/2 years ago. It has now turned into an intense passion, to a point that I'd rather do game dev than play a videogame.
I work as an Internet Engineer (kind of a Jack of all trades right now), so there is a slight connection to the game dev world. I am self taught in everything that I do, from 3d modelling, to level design, sound and the coding part.
I've been working on the 'On Your Own' project on my own (no pun intended).
Software used -
3d modelling - Blender
texturing - Substance tools (Painter and designer) + Photoshop CS6 (I've been trying out Substance Painter as well)
game engine - Unreal Engine 4
