Uhh lucky, I guess? I didn't really do anything with it except install it exactly how you'd do any other texture mods. I wouldn't really stick around with it as much since the load times are crapso but I did finish some levels without crashing whatsoever.

It did, and no errors whatsoever but slower loading times. I'll chalk that up to having played it on an HDD rather than SSD.

EDIT: Now used it on an m.2 SSD, definitely slower load times.
Crucial T700 2TB (Have not occupied a lot of spaces 1.42TB out of 1.81 free)

Not much, you could probably run it ez on a 980 GTX assuming you have at least 8GB of RAM and a decent enough CPU.

Not going to work easily man, try looking for guides otherwise, just buy the game for easier installation. You can get it cheap on sale or somewhere.

It's a bit complicated putting up a Steam page, you have to pay Valve and they have to approve it I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's what I heard from last time.

Who cares if you're playing on the build engine version? If you think the fan base has been reduced to what you think, you are pathetic. Quite frankly, the world does not revolve around you, so I'll say this again, no one cares if you're going to stick with the build engine version. If you look at the data all around you especially on this page and various articles I've read about this project, clearly a lot of people care.

Props to you for doing a bit of research though, but you didn't do enough.

EDIT : When you say "who cares when this is the community doing it", it's like you're a critic that doesn't know anything and just stomped on the work of many people without any valid reason to do so. You best look in the mirror.
