I'm glad to hear that, unfortunately I've been the one doing the graphics and I am a terrible artist. Once we find someone willing to do art without payment it's potential will really start to show.

The map currently being shown in videos and screenshots is merely a tiny fraction of what we have planned. Once the game enters Beta we will be focusing more on expanding the city map. Our current development status doesn't require a very large map at this time. Even after the game is released we would like to continue offering updates with new features and additional locations within the city.

As far the campaign, we have plans for two primary game modes depending on your preferred style of gameplay. Survival Mode will take much more time to complete, and really put the player in control of the Campaign/Story. There won't be very specific End-Game objectives which will allow you to continue playing for as long as you like without becoming too boring and repetitive.

The second mode is called Escape Mode which will be a faster paced campaign. It will have clear objectives that need to be completed and will focus mainly on surviving long enough to gather enough resources to make a run for the Green Zones.

The whole game is based on a novel I am writing, so I plan to link between the two in many creative ways. I just uploaded some new images to give a better idea of the setting.

I had never heard of Zafehouse until your comment. I searched for it on Google and downloaded it to see what you were talking about. While it does have similar characteristics it is much simpler than the features I have planned and even implemented so far.

I also noticed Zafehouse 2 is in development taking advantage of DirectX, there isn't much information on what kind of additional features and gameplay there will be.

However if you enjoyed playing Zafehouse I think you will really like what we plan to show off in the next few months with Rise of the Infected.

Well you will have control of one survivor, but instead of that being on the only character under your control we will also have support characters that can be given commands. The full details of controlling these other characters hasn't been completed however, once we get enough game content we will be looking for people to test it out and provide feedback.

I can't really say it will be anything like Project Zomboid or Survival Crisis Z. The simulation portion of the game will be similar to X-COM style but more detailed and survival focused. It will be more sandbox style, where you can rebuild the city, ration food/water/supplies, defend from random zombie attacks on your shelter, assign tasks or duties to survivors for day to day survival.

The action portion of the game however will be in missions. A mission can be started at any time, you'll pick the team, the weapons/tools/resources to bring along, and choose the location. Once the mission has started you'll have full control of the survivor you chose to lead the mission. The other team members will have commands and orders you can give them, and run off the AI. This will be real time combat with ranged and melee weapons. Similar to Dead Nation on the Playstation Network. Although I plan to add more elements to missions, less mindless slaughtering, more strategy and thought into your actions.

I'm trying to upload screenshots of the new features and progress as often as I can. I will make another video once I have enough new footage to show off however. We won't have much to show off regarding missions for a couple weeks though.

I like what they are doing with Project Zomboid, and I am following their development and progress, but we will have very few similarities other than the depth we want to bring to our games and an Isometric Perspective. As far as scz-like I am not familiar with scz or what you mean by it.

Thanks, we are hoping to replace some more of the "coder" art by the end of the week and have some work completed on the enemy AI. We have a video to upload as well of everything we have so far.
