Those who want a steam key wait for now. i am sure the dev's wanted to do someething like make the current keys work with steam...

This is an Rougelike and plays like Dota 2 or LoL. Your mission is Unclear due the Sandbox Aspects of it.
You do start out with an Small inventory of infierior Items and are forced to either Equip your Credit Card or work your hard way to Fame or Infamy.
First off you have to Work your Way around Other noobs which are most times clearly disoriented and bump into walls due bad AI. But Do not try to get into Conversations with them, because this may end badly, once you managed to evade the first enemy's you have to find a Boss, those will Supply after Slain with Landmarks that allow you to descent deeper into the Bowl of this Beast, Secondlife. You have to be constantly on lookout for Enemys that want to get you stuck in Drama or something, way worse. Sometimes you have to battle for Food, which is quite hard. Most survived by practise Canibalism while others sadly fallen Curse to Vamirism, those are especially Dangerous and get after you in hordes, most of the time tough you hunt for Noobs, taking ther belongings to lenghten your own life in this Harsh and dangerous world.
So beware of this is the most Advanced and Time Consuming Rougelike there ever been.

I looked it up.. and stuff. appearently. On Steam "Gas Guzzlers Extreme" is an updated version of this game here.
Due the update is using VAC it looks steam only. therefore this here will stay outdated?
I would Understand a DLC as upgrade and like some other games just getting a Steam key would be enough..

Second Life is just as good as you try to make it for yourself.
Sadly you have either grab for your wallet or try to win it at Casinos.. (like that ever works)
Therefore just stay away from this unless you want a Second Life, that may cost you playtime with any other Games you have. Because once your hooked. you kinda keep comming back to it.

The engine updates are results from the Port to Linux. they will have soon the things fixed. I hope.
I am hoping all the SDK's are out too so modders can just simply update the mods to work on any platform :)

Enjoying it so far, just bothered by the auto saving. There should be an hardcore mode with savegame option only when docked also death permanent, and requires to load the savegame. And some other tweaks :)

Whoa! Currently i just found one annoyance, got for some reason moved to another Galaxy at level 5, now i am stuck there without anything to do execpt to die from hostiles.
Anyhow once i'll get the demo in wine running i'll feed you moneys :)

The demo seems to be broken on Linux x64, it can't find Rico.sh in Desura/common/Riko.sh error.
Turns out its just desura executing the file in the wrong Folder, would confuse the average Ubuntu user tough :)

Broken on Linux, requires discontinued Adobe Air and is therefore unusable on Funtoo Linux.
I wasted my money. Great.

August 15. 2012. Yet i don't see on this game a Linux Icon at the purcase button.
Say can't games for Xbox 360 run OpenGL and that caused somewhat DirectX to be preferred?
I am unsure if i should Buy this game just in case for a Maybe Linux port, ending up trying it in Wine and be disappointed because of bad performance.
Linux in 12 or 24 months? :P
