Thanks for your interest.
Unfortunately, I can't take this project any further as the publisher went out of business, but I'll be using the engine to create other games.

The guns do recoil when shot, and have muzzleflashes and impact decals, but I appreciate your feedback and will look at buffing the effects and implementing some smoke particles. Thanks for checking this out.
Thanks for the support!
And I'd recommend taking a look at modding Wolfenstein 3D or learning an entry level programming language like DarkBasic.
Thanks! I've written the engine myself, and plan to expand upon it in the future.
That's awesome! Thank you so much for the mini review. I really appreciate the kind words, and I'm happy to know that you enjoyed playing the game.
Thanks again for the feedback. Very encouraging!
I just played the beta and it's a great start. Being able to move whilst in the air makes jumps very easy, but it's an enjoyable game so far.
I look forward to seeing more!
I have a few ideas that I'm keen to explore, but it may depend on the reaction to Prisoner as to how I prioritise them.
I've experimented with them moving around, it just depends on bug squishing and creating more animations.
Prisoner was originally intended to be a short and simple game that'd be developed over a couple of months before selling at a low price point, and I don't want to get too far from that as I have other projects I'd like to develop and I wouldn't wanna have to charge much more for it.
We'll see!
Thanks for the feedback! I'm aiming to include a choice of difficulty settings in the final game, and may adjust the enemies for the next demo. Thanks for playing!
Not sure yet. I hope to have a better idea in the next few days (I'm making a list of the files I need to update first). I look forward to another video walkthrough when the next demo is available. :D
Thank you! Good to hear the weapon scrolling should be a good idea. Hope to have a better idea when the next demo will be available soon. I look forward to seeing another one of your videos for Prisoner! :D
Any chance you'll be re-uploading this, perhaps to your new channel?
Sorry for the delay between updates. I'm working on it!
Thank you for putting together such an informative article. Much appreciated!
Thanks for the feedback. :)
Thank you so much! :D
What kind of errors did you get? I really appreciate your feedback and kind words. Very happy to hear that you enjoyed the game. Thank you!
Splitscreen only, I'm afraid. It's only my first game, and online play looks like one big feature too many to tackle for now. I'd certainly like to make online compatible co-op games, so it's on my list of features to research for my next project!
Ha, thanks! I can't wait to share the updates with everyone. Hope to have some news and screens for you soon.
That's fantastic! Thank you for taking the time to record that. I'll be sure to link to your video in my next update.
I really appreciate the kind words. Thanks again!
I'll definitely be tuning the balance. Thanks for playing!
Thank you very much! :D
Thank you very much for the feedback. Glad to hear that the game ran well for you.
I do like the idea of coming across other prisoners, and may well add some to the game by the time the next demo is released. I also have some enemy variations in the game, although I probably wont be extending their routines too much in this release due to time constraints (I currently only get around an hour or two a week to work on the game, but if it's successful in any way I should then be able to make a bigger game next).
Thanks again for the feedback!
Thank you for the feedback! I've altered the mouse look since releasing the alpha, and hope to include sensitivity settings in the final game. Good luck with your games!
I think that as long as a game is fun, there is reason for it!
Thank you for playing! I really appreciate the feedback.
Thank you for the helpful feedback, and the kind words. I very much appreciate the support I'm getting on this project. Glad you enjoyed it!
