Did you try using the model ingame? Most models appear green in the alo viewer depending on your computer(they always have for my windows 7 and 8) but still work fine ingame with the correct colors.

No, you simply need the version 1.0 download, I do recommend the patch however.

A note, we will be giving the ability audio. Every time you call in the gunship you will hear Fordo saying "Back up now!".

That's a problem of when a PC doesn't render the zoomed out shadows because the settings are to high.

They do have textures for the bottom, it's just that they have team colors applied on accident. :/

Yeah, they're like space only minor heroes, they act like Grand Moff Tarkin, giving a tactical bonus. They don't respawn and you can't rebuild them as well.

Kind of, they will act as unique fleet commanders for the CIS that you get in limited quantity.
