Hi, Eyaura here. My game "G String" is finally released.
Have a look on Steam.
It took nearly 13 years but I hope it was worth it. It was a very long, difficult journey and I almost gave up many times. Thanks to help and of course the encouragement from you, the many fans, I stuck to it. Thank you. I hope the final product is good; I look at release as just another step in the journey not the last one.
So anyway if you have any suggestions, questions email me.
So if anyone is interested I had a really odd cyberpunk 2077 related dream. Such vivid dreams don't happen very often to me. Very strange.
It started more or less in my game. I was at the top of a large pyramid like the air refinery but it was darker and it had slummy areas and a market somehow.
I was there with some friends and we were looking for a way to remove a weird growth on my right wrist, like neon crystal... While we were looking around there were giant electrical arcs hitting the interior walls of the pyramid.
Eventually the neon implant, or whatever it was, protruding from my arm started to dry off by itself...
...Then we're on a bus on top of a hill, kind of a LA style area but not fancy, and this is turns out to be actually the outskirts of "Night City" I guess it's called lol... We got off the bus. So in this dream the start of cyberpunk 2077 is a bit Half Life-y. It starts with a bus ride.
So it's like the last stop and we all got off, a bunch of younger people who came to try their luck kind of situation. And somehow I am aware I am actually playing cyberpunk 2077. And I start looking around and think "do I want to do this as I don't want spoilers." I guess I wasn't playing it at home so it was just a temporary experience so I was reluctant to get into to it too much. It felt this way anyway. Somehow this wasn't the "full experience" yet.
The people from the bus are dispersing. I am walking under old buildings, graffiti wall to wall and I get excited cause I see some textures I saw in websites and I used them in my game too. I point this out to someone and we laugh. There are also tiny doors, like dog doors, on walls that lead to secret areas which I avoid for now to avoid more spoilers.
I guess this was a VR party and everyone was connecting from a VR unit as a guy was complaining he has to go soon cause he connects from an internet cafe. I told him forget reality, forget the cafe, you are here now so enjoy. Lol.
Before all the people from the bus could disappear into the city cops show up. "Great, the game wants to teach us about weapons so early?" I thought. I don't feel like fighting, I want to explore... So the cops round us up but they're friendly. An Asian cop tells me I can't live in this city without guns. I accidentally touch and drop his machine gun, which for some reason he just placed beside him on a box and everyone laughs. Oops... OK...?
Then we found ourselves before a weapons store, all the weapons in the game that we will use at some point displayed behind glass... But we couldn't try any of them yet. A shady bald guy in a cape approached me and told me I can have those weapons anytime just come to him, the cheapest is 9 "units". I checked and I had 5 units, whatever they were, so it meant I have to earn 4 more before I can buy a gun. Good.
Then the friendly cops and the weapons dealer kind of vanish and I walk on with another girl form the bus heading into the city admiring the high detail environment. Yes, we are both aware this is the game 2077 and not reality. But somehow it felt more important than that if that makes sense. Like we were really invested.
As we walked I was pointing out how cool the tree physics are, like each leaf was moved by real time physics not pre rendered animations. They were palm trees. Very LA. I tried to climb one of the trees and I made note that in the next game I make I want to be able to climb trees. I was pointing out how nature is hard to fake cause it's more random than human structures.
In the distance there were many massive towers: downtown. I only saw the tip of all these towers and hi-tech structures cause they were obstructed by the tall hill we were on. One closer structure amidst all the trees stood out, the golden tip of a tower so I walked towards it and it turned out to be the top of some high tech church.
Then a cop spotted me and my companion and this guy was nasty. He hauled us off to some checkpoint and said I was a "non identity" which I understood it meant I was missing some identification card or chip that everyone in the city must have. Then my companion disappeared and there was a fight? Like more cops showed up and beat up some citizens... For some reason...?
... So the cop who spotted me turns out to be my grandson. The other cops who showed up harassing people turn out to be his younger sister and brother... Things got weird I guess lol. On the bus I was a teen and now a granny?
Later I was with the cops at their rundown home and as I said it turns out I was their grandmother lol. My daughter was there too and we were both angry that our kids turned out such nasty cops. I slapped the younger ones and then I told the oldest, the one that spotted me at the church, that if he behaves like that again I will disown him. I was staring into his eyes which had a crystalline structure? Implant? Visual glitch? Then I woke up.
