Okay, let me see if I can make the installer provide more info on crashes.

Please exit Fraps, then try again.

If that doesn't work, put the installer in its own separate folder, then download and extract this zip into that same folder and re-run the installer.

Try installing the latest full .NET framework Microsoft.com

Also post the full error report from the Event Viewer.

Try right clicking and running it as admin.

Try right clicking the file, select Properties and click "Unblock". If that doesn't work, try disabling your anti-virus.

Please run the installer, then press Windows Key + R, and type "eventvwr.exe" (without the quotes), and post any logs related to the installer under "Windows Logs" -> "Application" (Usually the top few).

Running the installer on Windows 8 shouldn't be a problem. Please use the "Problem Steps Recorder" in Windows to record the steps to reproduce this problem. (Type psr in the Start menu).

Please make sure "screen capture" is enabled in Settings.

Then upload the report.

If SWAT 4: The Stetchkov Syndicate runs on Windows 8, this mod will work on Windows 8. If the installer says the OS isn't supported, the OS isn't English. Only English operating systems are supported.

First of all, visible lasers exist. They're rare, but they exist. Eg. gas lasers.

Also, technically... The lasers in the video are seen through a camera, and any decent camera is able to see lasers.

The lights won't be visible to mercenaries. They're only to locate yourself when you're in pitch black shadows.

And I've tripple checked the code each time -.-

It's way easier.. Start UnrealEd > Generic Browser > Actors > File > Export all scripts
