Awesome art style.

I may look at adding large nebula's that are infront of the player, rather than just backgrond nebula's later.

Needs a little more variety I think.

Yes thats a great explanation, Both of us working on the project have been using gamemaker for over six years now so hopefully we'll create something worth playing and not dissapoint you.

Thanks for the feedback. Gamemaker is a great engine however it has been tarnished by the large amount of low quality games that have been made with it. Thats not to say that there aren't some good games made with it.

Aftermath is still very early in development and by the time it is finished we hope to have created a fun and enjoyable game. An alpha release shouldn't be too far away now.

Love the physics engine, especially with enemies. Getting smacked around by swarms of spiders combined with the camera blur effect is amazing. Indie game of the year 2012/2013 right here.

Just to confirm that we do intend to continue work on this game eventually.

To increase your max resource limit you have to build ru addons onto your mothership, scavengers or mobile refinery's. I beleive each module increases your RU cap by 3000.
