Improvements have been made to their AI, but in terms of their horrible pathfinding this is (mostly) due to a map maker's lack of waypoint polish. There's a navmesh system that was being worked on early on but it would be PC-specific if it was ever finished due to the nature of it.

Somewhat regularly, sometimes development is slow for a couple of weeks so I do not want to force an update schedule, updates will be posted when there's something big that we'd like to show.
There are currently no plans to fix A-Nub movement.
