What does that 'mysterious item' do? The heart shaped thing. I am bringing it with me incase I find some use for it, but I am afraid it may not be obvious and/or have already passed its intended destination.

Bug: For me when I load into "mh4" I can no longer attack or shoot or switch weapons.

The game is not dead! Shame lots of people aren't on all the time, but everyday a US server or 2 has plenty of people, and on the weekend prime time it's packed.

Seems like a good proof of concept. Well done so far!
How do you see things moving forward? Not as an end product, but maybe a first alpha/beta.
I could imagine you having fun creating all of these scenes from the LotR that you want, letting the player advance one location at a time. So they'd be completing a set of quests to advance to the next.
This seems like a really good way to lay a foundation down, and from there work on mechanics, rpg elements, branching story, and whatnot. I am no game designer, but I do feel like the main attraction is seeing all of the iconic scenes we know and love.
