This sounds cool, can probably smack up a couple of dedicated european servers.

A couple of tips to have a pleasant experience as possible.

1. VoIP is king, in-game VoIP is iffy but works.

2. Keep the servers at 4 slots, the game isn't meant to have 4 players and 3 spectators, all fighting over the slots. Just open a new server. : )

3. Stay awesome

Try reinstalling the game, it worked for me. Or rather it didn't work, and after I'd updated to Win 7 (from RC, and thus formatting) it worked just fine. : )

Although the game is symmetrical there was—and still are—some issues of balance, especially concerning secondary fire. We had to weigh cool down versus damage versus spread, to take the heavy class as an example. Alas, this is something we don't really discuss in the postmortem.

It started out as a spare time activity but we used every possible excuse to integrate it into our courses, to be able to focus.

The course gives us priority to the uni's computers, but we took initiative to seize our "office", rather than working in one of the larger computer rooms. Trivia: The room is now in the care of a group of students developing Sanctum (https://www.moddb.com/mods/sanctum), so it's nice seeing our old office being put to good use. : )

As the game has been designed for tight and intimate team play it's 2vs2 and no more than that. Who knows what the future holds though.
