You should be able to easily press the buttons (by using them with E) next to the gate to open it by entering the correct code.
Can you press the number buttons?

Also use E when trying to enter the floating contraption. That can be a bit more tricky, (don't remember why but I could not make it work in every case/position. Something with entering/activating that pod.) but a few presses around the button should get you in.

Thanks, Fast_Train I needed that! :-)
(Low number of reviews and one guy rating it 2/10 brings it so low.)

There is some UI text and also some textures around the first area explaining this: just press I to display it. Other than that, it is automatic, you only put tools, cash and food into it (by using those) then those things are automatically used when/where they make sense. Except for the vending machines, which you have to press to spend coins there.

Hmmm, maybe I left some route unblocked so you were able to go there without dying? Or you used cheats, god mode?
Well anyway, you are not even supposed to be there, just try going there along the catwalk, which will break in front of you, then Antlions start coming from the firs tunnel and the NPC guys leave with the elevator. After that they'll give you the objectives from above. Hint: use the turrets to protect yourself. Move turrets around as the gameplay moves from one area of the catwalk to the other.

As the elevator comes down it gets stuck. NPCs tell you to shoot the barrels next to it, as that might help to get it unstuck.
As you might guess something more spectacular will happen. :-)

Thanks Medve for reviewing. Great comments and gameplay.
Lot's of spoilers for those who would like to play the MOD, but there is still much left to explore that Medve missed in every section. At least a half an hour more gameplay if you explore every area in the maps and discover every detail.
Hint: In the Antlion Mine Arena do what the NPC tell you from above. There is lot's more stuff there also to experience. Also reposition the turrets to protect you as the gameplay progresses from one area of the catwalk to the other, and back. And stay on the platforms! Just do the tasks they tell you. Köszi!

Thank you very much! I am happy you enjoyed it.
I am an explorer myself, that's why there are plenty of things outside the main path.
And you are absolutely right about the building for Source SDK Base 2013. Unfortunately there are some problems nobody could answer so far.

Yes, the Under construction sign is the end, but you might have missed a big cave section before that if the route was closed (plank broken across chasm) in case you did not get enough points from previous level sections. :-)
Did you battle a bunch of Antlions in a cave? If not, then you missed that section. (Just cheat your way over the gap.) This is the entrance:

Yes, you have to "park" it precisely.
You are almost done escorting her. Have fun with the Antlions!

Yep, but it's just a simple automatic inventory. You can pick stuff up (tools, food, coin) then those are automatically or in case of coins voluntarily used where they make sense.

That looks about OK, except for the "SteamLibrary" part in your path.
I have no idea what that is and I also don't know if Windows 10 is a problem or not.
My path looks like:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\Hangover

Oh stop it, you! You'll make me blush. :-)
You would start teasing if you knew what I'm working on.

Anyway, there is very little original content in there. I just combined all the great stuff we got from Valve in a bit different way.

No, that is not your fault. For some reason that boat enter trigger is quite unreliable. Sometimes you have to activate several times to be able to get in or have to stand exactly some distance from it when activating. I remember I tried but eventually couldn't figure out a better way how to make it work more reliably.
But you managed to get in after all, so all is good.
Thanks for playing!

Thanks! I am happy you enjoyed it! Exactly the reason why we make MODs.

I have originally written like ten time the story and planned to create 2-3 time this much, as the first chapter, in a couple of month... but then found out it will take much more time to create just this much you experienced.
Guess, about how many hours making this, logged in my Source SDK!

Hmm, not showing up? Do you have the mod's content under the Hangover folder or is there another Hangover folder there?
Sorry for this obvious question, just trying to figure out what could be the problem. (Sometimes when you unpack stuff, things like this can happen.)

I also have "Source SDK" and "Source SDK Base 2007" installed. Not absolutely sure if the mod needs those or they were only required for the "Proper" tool.

Anyway, I think the mod should show up in your games list even without the proper SDKs installed.

Unfortunately, there is another problem now: what compiled before does not anymore with the new SDK. :-(

I asked for some help in figuring this out, as I can't do it myself.

Thanks for the interest. I have not touched it in the last half year or so. It is finished I am just waiting for a few graffitis.
I hope to get them from the very occupied artist ... once. Then I'll release the MOD.

Searched for it and found this comedy machinima:

It is pretty simple:
I display the inventory with the help of this entity:

and here is a tutorial to get you started:

"simply the idea was bigger than the human resources, for developing this mod"

Never give up! ... Unless you find better things to do in your free time.

You can always cut things out or release the planned "too ambitious" MOD in chapters.
I did the same with Hangover. I am nearing finish with about 1/5th of the initial ideas I planned for the MOD. This first chapter will be about 1 hour gameplay on 3 maxed out maps.

Thanks for your interest:

Yes, after a round of focus testing I am now addressing problem areas (gameplay wise) and doing some environment art on the few areas that were still just in very early VIP state to bring them up to the quality of other parts.
Soon there will be another round of testing, then I guess some more gameplay modifications.
environment art passes,
VO recording,
beta testing,
...

English proofwriter/rewriter and focus testers did a great job, they will all be credited when the MOD is finally released.

Oh, one more thing: you combined metallic and plastic objects into one static prop. Are you also using one collision model for it?

I guess in this case you must have at least 3 different collision models (metal, plastic, organic trash) because you need different surface properties for metal and plastic.
Right?
What happens when you shoot the different parts now?
