Cold space as always. I fire up my jumpdrive leaving behind [19-11] with a fresh batch of energy cells. I feel like the Human Federation running the plant are ripping me off with their prices but I know exactly where to sell them for profit.
I have a guy on the Federation Trading Station in [20-11] who will take them for a good price.
I drop out of hyperspace and head towards it. So many ships buzzing around. Military patrols, traders, civilians, bounty hunters.
All of a sudden, my scanners pick up a familiar signature. A bounty hunter slowly cruising by. I recognize this guy, he attacked me for no reason on [20-12].
Time to teach this guy a lesson. I fire up my FLAK missiles. A direct side hit almost takes out his shields. My two Beagle wingmen engage him immediately tearing him apart with their Positron Laser repeaters. The guy doesn't back down and fires 3 FLAK missiles. One of them hits my shields but I manage to evade the other two.
Almost as if ordered, the entire military force from the sector sets their targets on the bounty hunter. You don't mess with the Federation.
The guy goes down faster than an S-500 shield struck by a thousand positron laser repeaters.
I finally manage to dock and meet with my guy. He buys all my cargo at double the price. Finally, some decent profits.
I undock and fire up my jumpdrive. Destination: the unending galaxy. Adventure, profit and trouble lies just around the corner waiting to surprise me.
This is how I feel playing the game. It truly is an amazing experience told with simple graphics and few words. Keep up the great work.
