I think that the real problem is that very few people are interested in multiplayer game based on future. Moreover we have seen the result of BF2142 deserted by the BF community. People are focused on modern warfare like bf2, bf3, COD or even mods like PR or Insurgency. So in this case there is no more people to play mods like FS. In its time, Galactic Conquest (BF1942 mod in Star Wars universe) was more populated than First Strike but was crushed by Desert Combat & Forgotten Hope in term of population. I think in addition that people interested in spatial vessel and other prefer to play X3, EVE Online and other space opera games instead of playing FPS. Planetside is an exception I guess.

Because women soldiers are planned for the game (Sounds of girl screams seem to have been added too soon).

The creature make me think to a mod for Warcraft III in Starcraft universe.

I think the Captain with a hook is from Pirates Vikings & Knights II. The guy on the creature could be a Punk from Dystopia.

Good job mens. The idea to restore first BF2 project before the cutting of features for BF2 retail is pretty cool. Numbers of features are passed to the trap. I encourage you and I hope you will share your work with other teams mods by example for your physics feature. ;)

That could be a great mod if you have enough of passion to finish it. I hope that people will play this and that you have enough time before BF3... You could develop on BF2142 but when you see the number of players on First Strike mod I think BF2 platform is the best idea. I swear... Poor FS dev...

It's nice to propose all language. I'm french and I'm happy to see my language in the game but I will prefer stay in english because the game has more charm in English. By exemple "Not a scratch" or "About to pushing up the daisies" sounds better in english for pirates or other that in french. And terms are no exactly good.

In french "About to pushing up the daisies" should be :
"Sur le point de rejoindre les déesses",
or maybe more really,
"Sur le point de bouffer les pissenlits par la racine"
that a flat "Proche de la mort" -> "Near death".

So a pretty good idea for all non-English speaking.

It deal of radar, OH-58D (not in v0.8), hellfire and others updates as new maps.

v.18 release is coming... And you will play with boot because ******* BF2 players prefer to do stat instead of to play on amazings mods...
