I do not support Nazisim by any way so i do not want any messages driven by hate (or curiousity). My avatar is the former symbol of the Finnish Air Force, and by using it i am doing my part to save the swastika from Nazisim (and hate from those who do not know their history).

Lol, I think some people don't know how the real Nazi Cross looks like.
Its turned about 45° to the right.

I hate to say this but swastika isn`t really a nazi symbol at all.
Nazi swastika has different angle (to look meaner I think), this one means good!
But people... Ugh! In years they never fail in making no sense.

its a shame that the swastika is seen only as a symbol of the horrors of nazism these days by most people, the same would be done to the chrisitan cross if it was adopted by the nazis though

I have so mutch respect for you, carrying the Swastika on your profile. I have for so long tryed to convince people that the swastika is no longer under major nazi lead, though still some Nazi people use it. I bought a banner of a Swastika cut in stone, wich was once a symbol of "piece in day", my mom then took it while i was gone, and it has ever since been laying on some weird junkyard probably burned.

i read your summary and i find it stupid.
That symbol represents nazis, it used to be different i get it but you can't use it anyhow. i won't salute anyone the nazis way saying it was the roman one.

Good sir. I understand that you find my summary stupid, and I understand that as French you do not like the symbol. But why should we abandon a symbol of good luck just because one nation misused it. Maybe it´s because I am a Finn and see the symbol differently (our air force still uses it) I do not see it as evil but as a symbol of my country and my ancestry. I pardon if you do not see this as a good enough explanation, but the symbol i use is just a Finnish air force badge, which i cannot see as offensive.

Haha kind of reminds me of Kipling and how he put the swastika on a book before world war 2.

People barley pay attention to history, let alone the details of it nowadays.
