wasnt sure if it was stand alone as i have seen stand alone HD upgrade mods in the past. just a shame theres no digital copy of the game on steam or GoG.

if not can you play the campaign or is the mod skermish and multiplayer only?

when you reinstall albion prelude do you go into the directory and manually remove all elements of the game.
or are you trying to install it onto the base X3 and not albion prelude?

i would say it would be one of the federation faction super weapons revealing a gravity well and maybe its surrounding planets too, maybe permanently active with the ability to redirect its focus or maybe a reveal for a short time with a cooldown.

thats how i would make it work

there are alot more canon ships in the BSG universe that were not shown in the show or only shown very brefly

just so you know the group working on this made several of the best mods for bridge commander, like the DS9FX mod. and they even tried adding star trek elite force stuff to it but sadly failed so they started making their own game.

with homeworld remastered getting steam workshop support will we be seeing this mod on there? or will you keep it on moddb?

im gonna wait till homeworld comes out on steam so i can move away from using my pirated copy of homeworld to play these mods and actually play on a legit copy

will they also give bonuses to shields like extra shield strength, shield recharge rate and bubble size?

from what ive read they are gonna release mod tools for it, its also one of the most demanded things on the gearbox forums so i dont see why they wouldnt.

Don't forget that gearbox's remastered homeworld will also be modable, you could wait and work on improving the gearbox version rather than the original one

i think they showed off some asgard ships and stations a while back and i think they are part of the tauri race (dont quote me on that i may be totally wrong)

i dont like this design its too white. The darker tones in the old design was alot easier on my eyes making text alot easier to read

i wouldn't say its better than the shows as movie/show quality models have alot higher resolution textures and higher polly count.
this model is really really good and i would say almost as good as the show model and is definitely high end game quality

i didnt know about nexus 2 until just recently if i had known i would have joined the kickstarter.
maybe its worth trying again or getting the game greenlit on steam

the only question now is how does it look ingame as a render can look totally different in engine
