Update on memory crashes - should be better now, but might still happen. Users of integrated graphics cards may for now just have to watch memory with task manager, and restart client if it gets over 1.5Gb or so.

Also - we've now implemented a gameplay change. On half the maps you can't play commands until turn 3, which should give players a chance to 'settle' before their opponent starts bringing out the big guns. This is an experiment - we'll see how it pans out before making it permanent.

Sadly, and despite my optimism in the tweet, the graphics corruption issue plaguing some players is still not fixed. The good news is that I now know what's causing it - it's an issue with integrated graphics cards (in low-end laptops) using too much memory. I'm still working on a solution.

Two updates in the last two days have given the Mage King and the Warrior King six new cards each. We've expanded the game's card-set by about 25% in the last week - and more are planned! Hoping to push past the 200 mark in the next few weeks.

The game is now nearing completion in terms of card-set, king-set, user interface and features. If you've been holding off playing to wait until it's finished - it's now near enough there, and just needs more players. Download and dive in - if you don't find anyone online to play then try again a few times :-)

Now up to version 0.260 - since my last comment here we have added volcanoes and lava, a new king, and many new cards. We've also continued to improve polish and fix bugs - the game is now slick and stable! If you played before and liked what you saw - the Christmas break is the time to come back :-)

Just found a fixed a problem that was stopping people actually starting the game (giving unhelpful 'internet connection' problem emails). If this affected you, you should now be able to play at last! Apologies...

Version 0.201 is now out - this includes
- A proper patcher/launcher
- A system that lets you know when other players are looking for a game

Should improve the experience all round :-)

Hi again,

Someone has suggested to me that the need to create an account and give personal details might be putting people off...

...so I'd like to point out that the game DOESN'T ask for your email or any details at all - it just needs a username and password so it can keep track of the decks you build and your card collection. Account creation is VERY quick and easy - just enter a username and password, click a button, type password in to confirm, and you are away.
