Yep, next version will have that. Sorry!

% APPDATA %\Frogatto\preferences.cfg (remove spaces)
Err, sorry; it's in
P;PDATA%\Frogatto\preferences.cfg
You can reach that folder by running, in the run/search menu
explorer
P;PDATA%\Frogatto
Hmm. Try getting in Frogatto's install folder, and in preferences.cfg change
"joystick": true, to "joystick": false

Try unplugging any controllers if you having them and play with the keyboard; if you press up, does Frogatto at least have an animation of him looking up?
Yep. Never saw that.
Only thing I can think of right now is to try giving you a debug build of the next version to see if we have that fixed for the future - quite possible as we've changed versions of SDL since then. We don't have one ready right now, I'll ask for that to be made.
Well, try changing you control bindings on the Esc -> Controls... menu
Only thing I can think of for you to try is to get into the control settings window (Esc, then "Controls..." and binding the up direction to some other key. If you are in front of the door, and then press that, and nothing happens...
Then I'm afraid you'd have to ask for a refund as there's nothing we can do with a bug we can't reproduce.
Ahh, please delete the incomplete translation: modules/frogatto/locale/nl/LC_MESSAGES/frogatto.mo
Sorry we shipped the game with that.
Actually, nope - no Mono, it's a custom C++ engine.
If you're on Windows, ctrl+F will probably work for you.
Uhh, that's bizarre. Never seen something like that - Frogatto walking to a door and pressing up will make him enter it.
Yikes. Totally not. I think we've fixed that in the repository (i.e. for the next version) Strange stuff that happens on levels with darkness.
There are some issues with translations, so it depends on what his system's language is.
Funny, hadn't updated this page before responding; well, at least the answer will be up for someone else, I guess.
If you're on Windows, ctrl+f should be working well;
As for the language, delete
modules/frogatto/locale/nl/LC_MESSAGES/frogatto.mo
Ahh apologies. It'll probably be missing a font that the editor needs, and thus crash.
After it being greenlit, when the new version is ready. Should be in a few months, early next year.
For the most part, yes; press ctrl+E to try it out. Do save your progress first, though! Starting the editor will make the game completely forget your earlier progress.
Manually, on Transifex.com
You're using one of the incomplete translations, then... Sorry! We're getting a patch out soon that removes the incomplete translations in the game. In the meantime, you could delete
modules/frogatto/locale/<code for your language>/LC_MESSAGES/frogatto.mo
so that you'll be reverted to having the game fully in english.
Not all teleporters work both ways :3
1. We'll have better binding soon but also disabling support is a good idea, I'll add that to the issue tracker.
2. For that you can use Ctrl+F if you're on Windows; better fullscreen and resolution support is also to come in the future.
I don't have a xbox controller on hand to try, but I've heard of someone whose xbox-like controller just worked, with X and B as attack/jump (or vice-versa). The bindings are not currently configurable, though.
Yes, though not as widely tested across different models as we'd like.
modules/frogatto/locale/ja/LC_MESSAGES/frogatto.mo
Looking at it... so it turns out that, if the language is set to Japanese and Chinese, that font is not being loaded.
Though, actually, the Japanese translation there is incomplete anyway, so your default language should've been set to English. Our next patch will rectify that.
As a workaround, if you remove the japanese translation file, that'll do. It'll be located at... I think it's something like locale/ja/frogatto.mo
Also worth mentioning that we have no problem at all with providing Steam keys for those that have purchased the game elsewhere when we get there, in the future.
Righto, we'll be sure to let everyone know when it does. :)
Cool, cool... Controller support is something of a problem for us, yeah :/ I figure we'll get some outside help, eventually.
Ah yes, we will... windowed mode is better for development as well, after all.
Also... do remind us when you're going to stream it? :)
Thanks! Not yet, we've got to make a pitch video for it, so to speak.
