Hi,

Stargate Vengeance originally was created by a couple of teenagers in late 2008 whom, at the time, were beta testers for SG:EAW. Their intend was to create a series of videos in an episodal format which contained a story-arc.

An agreement was reached between the SGMG and SGPG (Stargate Productions Group), to allow the SGPG to utilise the content from the SGMG's mod to produce the videos.

Unfortunately, due to time constraints and other personal committments, the group eventually were unable to create what they desired to achieve.

This release of SG:EAW-PC is space skirmish only ... updates will be released at a later date, you will just have to wait.

Before you criticize them for not considering uploading to other servers, consider this; the people behind the development of this mod have jobs themselves and work on this mod during their spare time, it is a hobby, they get no financial reward for their efforts.

You will be experiencing their mod for free so be thankful that they took the time in the first place to create something they believed in!!!

I have experienced no problems in downloading the mod, I successfully downloaded from both the Stargate.eaw and DRopbox sites. File size is 686.72MB.

Congratulations to the SGMG for the development and release of the space skirmish version :)

I agree with [SGMG]McKay, if you are not interested in the pictures of the week, then just ignore them.

I for one am interested in SGMG's progress, they work on this mod in their spare time (like a hobby), they have achieved much considering they don't get paid for their efforts.

If you have nothing constructive to say, then don't say anything at all!!!

I have placed a small message up on the SGPG site under the comments section, I would like to keep the team "alive" if possible for the future if we have time to do anything to make some cool videos :)

Hope fully, in due time, when the Stargate Modding Group have completed their mod Stargate: Empire at War - Pegasus Chronicles, maybe if a few of us have the time, and new people wish to participate, we will revive the project but in a different format.

In the series, Anubis was the only Goa'uld to demonstrate the use of the transport vessel, I know it could be argued that other Goa'uld System Lords could have used it too, but Anubis was the only one to actually show it.

Well, as I said, it is just an idea.

The Ancients and the Ori are the same race, they came from the same homeworld, the Ancients preferred to leave their homeworld than go to war with the every growing legions of Ori followers.

Reason why I put in "they were old when the molecules of the Ancients homeworld began to form" ... was because all planets form from base molecules, and it takes a long time to form a planet ... borrowing from the legends of Doctor Who, the Time lords were the first race before everyone else watched all the other races develop ... and from Babylon 5, Lorien was the first of The First Ones, he saw all the races homeworld come into existance before the races developed on their respective worlds ... and borrowing also from Stargate Universe, when they discovered that planet and the theory was announced that there could be a race out there who has the technology to create solar systems, so they are probably older than what the Ancients would have been.

You can play with the idea how you like, I just hope it gives you an understanding behind my thinking and helps you with more ideas :)

G'day mate, long time no "see" LOL :)

Intriguing idea, here is an idea, the Taneans came from a distant galaxy, traveling in massive generational ships from galaxy to galaxy. Stopping in each galaxy to create a solar system and colonize the planet in each galaxy they come across (including the Milky Way/Pegasus and Ida galaxies) they live in seclusion but are heavily technologically advanced, living under the surface of their worlds so on the planets surface it looks uninhabited. They do not require the use of a Stargate therefore they have never been noticed by any races. They are a very old race, far older than the Ancients, they were old when the molecules of the Ancients homeworld began to form.

That is all I got mate, but it is an idea :)

Guys Guys Guys, don't sap the fun out of the series, just be thankful that Stargate is a show that everyone can watch, you obviously enjoyed watching it. And if I were to poke holes at the flaws in Stargate (my list is quite extensive), you would tell me to be quiet, just let it be, the writers do their best to get as "real" as possible, I for one think they did a good job :)
