I wonder what settings cause this, or is it the nature of this mod?

The thing is, this setting doesnt exist anymore. You cant outright "disable" it, you can override the high dpi scaling behaviour to either application, system or system enhanced.

Im googling right now to try and fix this issue, ill post here if i find it, it can help other people aswell.

EDIT: I think it has "reduced" the issue but something about the whole ordeal just feels off. I cant tell if its placebo or an actual issue anymore, but it does feel like it speeds up and slows down. Feels a bit uneasy, but i think its mostly amplified by the stutters and the tearing, the former being a problem with my pc.
This cant be normal, it just feels wrong.

Also, at a framerate cap of 50, i can see 2 tearlines on the screen at the same time. My refresh rate is 75. How is this possible?

Mouse movements feel just "odd" with xash3d. Its like my mouse has variable sensitivity, and the engine has a ton of screen tearing.
I am playing Paranoia with the new engine, the old engine made for paranoia has different mouse problems.

EDIT: Confirmed. Sometimes moving around would incur a change in mouse sensitivity. Its easy to tell, since im usually able to do 270degree turn max with my mousemat, but in xash3d i can sometimes do a full 360 with a bit on top.

What happened to the extra weapons this mod was supposed to have?
I see a distinct lack of an EGON, OICW, AK and dual wielding.
Why were those cut out? And is it possible to get them back as some sort of an addon?

Honestly seems like another one of those Half-Life to CoD mods. Not that i have seen any others, because i have not, this mod clearly shows signs of this.
The sprinting makes the player a virtual sanic. It can be used to break out of maps because of its extreme speed, and i dont think it fits Half-Life that well anyway. It also requires this to be used, because the moving speed is just more irritable now.

Not all of the changes are bad however. I quite like the egon gun slowdown but its rather extreme, something like 65% full speed would be more fitting. Pushable props are also seem quite nice.

You should take that mod into a different direction, fix most of the half-life's bugs, minorly overhaul some levels, make the viewmodels a tad more sexy. The current viewmodels are just so hd it doesnt fit the game anymore.

That's just my opinion though.

You should use the Xash3D engine. It breaks limitations and allows for dynamic shadows.

This mod could use some smexy touches here and there.

As for weapon sounds, i could help porting them over and modify those for half-life. Stuff like that, same goes for music, i can help.

What kind of a half-life version do i precisely need for this? I plan to maximise my half-life experience so i want to get the best everything for it.
For another question, this engine supports AA and Anisotropic filtering?

He-hey, this looks like a respectable mod.
Video was high quality, smooth as butter, the mod seems like a good idea, and it just gives a good taste in my mouth. Like those, beans that you purchase in the store. The quality ones, yes, they taste good.

So in conclusion: I love beans.
