Lets also keep in mind that the community can create mods for and emulate entire consoles(where almost everything is proprietary). Every DRM scheme thats ever been created has been broken, this one will be no exception.

Downgrade to 1.13, should be files on the median xl official site for that(check posts on the forums), plus u can find the 1.13 installer on the web.

This mod is truely amazing. I first played torchlight 2 with this mod til level 35, then tried playing without it(so I could play online w/ a friend who only had a vanilla char). After you've played torchlight with this mod, you can't go back. The vanilla game seems stale, over simplified and boring without it.

Maybe this feature is related to engine limitations, such as too many entities(too much gore in memory) causes the game to crash?

This game is so awesome...too bad more ppl dont play it online...the rush of getting close to ur mark then getting killed from behind w/ a weapon is amazing.

i dont believe that bots are included within this mod, I've never seen a single bot in multiplayer.

I'd imagine...like in the past. No new engine til half-life 3 gets released...keep in mind i mean hl3..NOT hl2:epi 3.

I'm pretty sure the answer is yes... the only time any sdk's company wants money is when you go to make money using their product...in which you need to license their engine. Otherwise, no money changing hands = nothing needed to be paid.
