I've retired from modding pretty much, think Masakari as well, considering that last he was online was a year ago.

The main hurdle for getting TCS developing again is finding a modder who is familiar with the game engine, and updating it for the version that works on modern systems i.e. remastered collection, but that's only available on the EA store.

Easiest way to play this nowadays is have an emulated Win XP install, the last release is still working as far as I know.

I've a list of things to ask, hope you guys can help me out:

1) Is it possible to add bridges that allow units to pass underneath? Or staircases/buildings/fortifications for that matter?

2) Is it possible to have walkers/mechs that stay upright on slopes, instead of tilting like a tank?

3) Also, can feet for infantry/mechs conform to terrain such as slopes?

4) Is there any way to make custom trenches?

Work has been continuously progressing on the mod, not only "right now".
Just because Tr00perBuzzdee isn't posting new screens or videos, doesn't mean nothing is happening.

I personally do not believe in posting "WIP" shots that clog up the images section; I want to make sure my work is complete and looking exactly the way I want it, and working as it should before showing it to the public.

Also, a lot of time and effort is required to make even the simplest of objects. Both me and Tr00per have full time jobs and social lives outside of this project so a little understanding would be great.

Update your game to 2.05.15, older patch versions are not supported and you may or may not be able to run the mod.

I've been trying to make my own underground areas, but I can't figure out how to set the cut_area part.

Metallic looking textures requires specular maps, you could paint highlights into the base texture but it would be "static", and not as nice since the game has dynamic lights.

It was in 3.0, happens when you 'split' squads (or pretty much any action where you select soldiers individually).

It happens for tanks as well, sometimes i'd have a bunch of tankmen in their own 'squads', but are still attached to the vehicles.

I have to move them to a new squad, and re-add them to the vehicle to solve the issue. I noticed that its a more common occurence post DCG 2.5, previous versions rarely did this.

Also, if you don't fix it in the squad allocation screen, the "orphaned" infantry/tankmen will sometimes spawn in the middle of the map/some random area when you start the mission.

Its annoying but not really a big deal.

I am one of the people contributing work to this mod, and I know just as well as any modder that it takes alot of time and effort to create art and code.

Tr00perBuzzdee has put alot of hard work into making this demo, and i'm amazed he's making a release so quickly.

If you think you can do better, put your money where your mouth is and make your own mod for AS.

If you can't, then shut it since you are incapable of giving constructive comments.
