Fixed the lack of normals and stuff.
I just realized that I forgot to turn on the normal maps in this image!
I had tried to do it at a higher resolution, but it didn't render the whole texture when I did.
No it's not textured, I had scrapped the design a while back because it didn't fit with the other content.
Right now it's still in development, I honestly don't have any idea when it will be done. It's not high on my priority list right now, but it's certainly not dead even if I don't seem all that active. I'm considering releasing a new beta after I finish updating my device info and make sounds for the new weapons.
This is an early version of it, the song is still subject to change at any time before release.

In case anyone was wondering, I'm planning the following sorts of missiles:
Interceptor Missile(Basically just an AA gun with missiles)
EMP Missile(Anti-shield\device)
Plasma Missile(Balanced between all damage types)
Nuclear Missile(You should already know this one)
Anti-Matter Missile(Super nuke anyone?)
Actually any nexus weapon can do that, but it's normally not very noticeable.

Yeah it's a missile, but the EFX aren't working properly on it yet so you can't really tell.
From the little I watched of the show before it was canceled, it seemed to do a bit of both. It also seemed to pack a decent punch to it.
Hahaha I just realized I put a file I was writing at 4AM in the .rar, that story line file wasn't supposed to be there if anyone read it. At least it's not to horrible, though it's not exactly done or giving the full story.

I'm sorry if I misunderstood your comment but I took most of that as an INSULT.
Ehm I'll just explain some stuff here, the missions in this mod are currently only testing. You must remember that this is still in beta, there won't be much other then getting thrown into a battle until I finish the campaign version. On the note of the weapon and device names, I had finished 75% of them, however, I had accidentally used an old backup when I messed something up and lost them before I uploaded beta 3. Also, you seem to not really understand that until the campaign is made I can't do briefings or any of that story stuff the normal game had. If I manage to get anything done in those areas I'll release it, but right now I'm just setting the stuff out so I CAN do the story. I need to do a lot before I can do that.
So please, before you go and complain about something like device names or the missions, just remember that this is in beta and isn't even close to being done. Just another note, I'm the only one making it so it's going to be a while before most of the detail work is done.. if you want it a lot your more then welcome to make some stuff and send it to me. Again, sorry if I took your comment wrong, but you should consider these things before you comment.
After I finish up some balancing I'll be uploading the new beta, I was going to do it a few days ago, but I ran into some bugs after multiplayer testing. That and I had managed to make the military and pirates such an even match that after an hour of battle no ships had been lost, had to fix that we dun need them not dieing now do we XD.
That's about all that you'd see when you have 20 ships explode in around 30 seconds. I personally can see them fighting, but that might just be because I'm used to the low fps which was actually about 20 for most of that.
Mhm, that would be it. Though the version up for download isn't as blurry. This was also to show that I had added lasers, there's currently 4 different types(I forgot if I had done it already)

This isn't ingame actually, I made it in blender, but I'm thinking of giving this a special jump engine. This is actually a semi-important story ship, which I'll likely make a post about on the mod forums some time soon. But until I do that I'll drop a small explanation here, Basically the story on this ship is that after the mechanoids were annihilated this ship was found floating around mars. It's a pretty damn big ship, and for a long while it wasn't in usable condition. In one of the last missions I have planned out it jumps in, because they wanted to test it and figured why not take the coron back in the process. More info later though, I gotta go do some stuff.
Sorry about the video being so slow xD My pc is ancient, had it for 10+ years and it's still running most things I want it to, but it just dies when it comes to videos. Anyways, hope you like the mod, the next update should be pretty nice at the rate I'm going with it. Hopefully I'll be getting a new pc soon as well :D
I've gotten it to dodge the missile 3 times and that missile kept trying to kill me, but after a bit it gets shot down xD
Getting it to dodge those missiles is a pain and takes lots and LOOTTTSSS of micro managed manual movement, but with the Coron it's as simple as Press Jump Engine -> Missile self-destructs.
I had been looking for a better model for ages. That just fit perfectly xD. The hardpoint placement is a lot better then the old model, and it has more of them at the same time. Found some other ships I might replace with new models as well, if I do it pictures will be up tonight.
I also finally managed to get hamachi to start so I guess I should go make some networks. I'll put the info here and on the forums so that it won't get lost later on.
