Glad to see. Been playing this on and off for about 3 years by now - and will happily play through the entire game start to finish. A remarkable piece of software that will undoubtedly stand the test of time. Congratulations on making it out of Early Access.

or just skip straight to Gothic V and say all inhabitants got amnesia with regards to nr. 4, so they've completely forgotten it existed (just put that in the intro-text and get on with it - hell, toss nr. 3 and Forsaken Gods in there as well and we've almost got a clean slate.)

due to indiedb being obtuse, you'll have to download the Linux version from:

Version 51/52:

– Further tweaks to Halo Blast
– Further cleaning of code
– Halo Blast now kills Satan on impact
– Resized backgrounds and made them stretch, thus freeing up vast amounts of resources
– Fixed some code in ‘wave-mode’
– Fundamental changes that doesn’t necessarily ‘show’ – but are very importan

Version 50:
- Gave the Halo Blast a 'bar' instead of a counter
- A bunch of clean-up under the hood (sorting, mainly - but also some important tweaks to the Halo Blast itself)
- Removed the debug UI

Version 49 aka "Robots don't have a soul":

- Moved 'Halo Blast' back to [SPACE] -button
- Tweaked 'Halo Blast'
- Fixed parallax scrolling clouds, once and for all
- Put a hard-limit on 'Halo Blast' timer
- Squashed bugs/cleaned up code

Version 48:

- Minor, but *important* tweaks 'under the hood'
- Moved 'Halo Blast' from [SPACE] to (either) [CTRL] button

Version 47:

– Fixed the bounce (once and for all?)
– Fixed the parallax scrolling – now the layers all work properly
– Fixed the Halo Blast, now it should work much better/more efficient
– Updated Help screen
– Gave lasers a tiny animation to help spot them among the clouds
– A whole lot of ‘cleaning up under the hood, thus justifying a new release’

Lord_Santa - - 130 comments @ Space Jesus vs. The Intergalactic Earth-Invaders from Beyond Outer Space

Version 45:
- Added 2 layer of parallax scrolling clouds (all cloud layers are very much WIP)
- Added 'Halo Blast' -power to Space Jesus (Press Space to use)
- Finally fixed the 'bouncing-issues' (I think)

Version 46:
- Halo Blast now protects against Shield Blasts, Robo Blasts, Fire Bullets & Mega Shield Blasts
- Crucifix no longer gives you points while doing its animation
- 'Teleport marker' removed from map (was added by mistake)
- Sound effect added to Halo Blast
- Minor tweaks/fixes

I ran into the same issue, which is odd, since I've been playing this since release and it wasn't until today that Windows Defender gave me a false-positive, so I'm suspecting it's an update to the Anti-virus

Version 44 [out now]

– Added four layer of transparent clouds on top of the map, to better illustrate the fact that the battle is taking place… among the clouds.
– Fixed the score/point -sytem. Now you can properly challenge your friends to a fair game of Space Jesus.
– Fixed the speed of enemies, so they don’t suddenly come charging at you at too high a speed
– Further tweaks to the bouncing-mechanism
– Further tweaks to the teleportation-script(s)
– ‘a bunch of fixes/cleaning up under the hood’

Version 43 [out now]
- (Hopefully) Fixed teleportation, so that enemies don't spawn close to you and you don't spawn close to them
- Added snazzy graphical-effects when hitting the Aliens, Robots and Mouths with your lasers (to provide better visual feedback)
- Gave the Robots slightly better visual feedback (their eyes turn red and they stop moving about as... 'calmly' when they are ready to detonate)
- Fullscreen by default - needs more tweaking, but the game will now return [to] fullscreen after just as soon as you start a level
- Limited the number of Aliens/Robots/Mouths on each level to 100, in order no to get completely swarmed (that is: 42 Aliens/28 Robots/30 Mouths)
- Debug GUI back (for now)

I can only find "Extended Weather v0.18", which clearly states that it conflicts with "Build Style Weather Mod", which I can't find [in] the mod-list, nor any information with regards to it on-line; thus I figured they'd left it out

just one question: where/how do I install the "Build Style Weather mod" (I'm running Static Lighting), or was it discarded in favor of Dynamic Lighting only, or similar?

Simply astounding work. Thank you Dezowave team, for everything. Runs smooth as butter and feels more S.T.A.L.K.E.R. than ever. (I love the updated textures!)

I love the idea behind this and I did manage to copy the files and boot up the game; looked awesome... now if only you had some installation instructions, since it's completely unplayable if you just copy the files and your 'invisible wall fix' just makes the game crash - due to lack of any form of documentation of how to install the mod itself.

actually, if you hold down your [interaction key] (F, by default), then you will highlight the info text of all the items in your vicinity, even without the crosshair

I'm sorry for posting two youtube links at once, not really sure how to edit on moddb

either way, this video shows much clearer the issue at hand (the menu switches from Interface Off to Interface On, without any input from me, just after the Bloodsucker attack)

hey man, good seeing you too

I never really left The Zone, but I have been less active on-line for quite some time now

I don't think it's a game-breaking bug of any sorts, but rather more of a nuisance - I've managed to reproduce it every time I tried it (five times), with the Bloodsucker by the tunnel in Garbage (as per the video above) - will try to find some more of them and see how it plays out =)

glad to see that the Stalker community still got humor =)

I'll post a video of the (supposed) bug here, as well - might help shed some light on the situation

you will notice at 00:07, how the HUD suddenly returns

keep in mind, I am playing unmodified version of Lost Alpha DC 1.4002, i.e. I am *not* running any of my previous HUD-mods, but rather I have simply chosen to disable "Interface On" in the Gameplay menu

I've noticed a bug:

I play with "Interface Off" and whenever I get attacked by a Bloodsucker and 'sucked', the HUD reappears afterwards and I need to go into the settings and readjust it
