Ahem. And I like what you're doing here. I may not really feel like playing STALKER anymore, or perhaps I kinda do but never get around to do it, or maybe I don't play that many video games anymore to begin with, or whatever, but it's good that there are still some people out there breathing life into the rather dusty first game.
I know it's only been seven years, but no, I never did release the map. Naturally I don't have the files anymore, in the off case you want to play it still.
Coincidentally, though, I did decide to play Fallout 4 again, as I do every few months with so many mods that I can barely play the game anymore. A blurse.
Yeah, X-Ray is just quirky like that. In Clear Sky there was (is?) a bug on certain configurations where low graphical settings actually cause lower FPS than maximum graphical settings.
No idea how these white lines manifested for you, and usually screen artifacts look differently, but I just had a dying GPU that basically gave up in the middle of playing No Man's Sky. The only graphical bugs I noticed beforehand were in a game I played prior to No Man's Sky, and there they weren't that apparent either, so much so that I blamed it on the game rather than on my hardware. At least it gave me an excuse to upgrade from a GTX 970 to an RTX 2070. So these "white lines" might as well have been a good-bye from your graphics card. Glad they weren't - but never rule out that possibility. If you ever come across something like that in a different game, make sure that these screen artifacts don't appear in other games as well. If they do, you should start saving up.
From what I read, it looks like your GPU is giving up. I do not know whether you've tried running any other demanding game in the mean time, but if not, I'd try that, just to cancel out the possibility of the graphics card being done.
Also: Was it a sudden thing? Did performance suddenly drop and did at the same time the white lines (possible "artifacts", and not the good kind) appear? If yes, it would indeed appear as though your graphics card is done.
Generally:
- Sudden loss of performance
- Appearance of weird graphical bugs
strongly point to GPU failure.
If your rig runs just fine on similarly demanding or even more demanding games, then, and only then, it can be determined to be a game-specific phenomenon.

Still alive! The reveal of Metro Exodus kind of awakened me from my slumber...not much going on with STALKER for me in the past years, but I'd like to get into it again. Gonna check whether there are some cool new mods out.

That's an awesome picture there mate, the slight fog in the background coupled with the otherwise sunny weather creates an interesting atmosphere! Very natural lighting on the other pictures, too. I love this engine...

Where is 2:33 located at? I mean I've never seen such a place in the zone so far...absolutely stunning work there mate.
I don't think that STALKER actually needs this kind of gimmicky stuff like a mirrored "R" to look more "slav".
Apart from that, it's absolutely stunning what you created there, incredibly atmospheric...and, most importantly, very fitting to the game's setting.
Love how in the last pic it's not just another "gas mask man", but an actual face.
How about putting the title into the upper left corner instead? Right now the lower right part looks a bit over-"populated". Maybe you could make the lettering a bit smaller, too.
