Loved the 3D one, had a go at the Android one and enjoyed it despite lacking graphics.
I take it you're more of a coder because the gameplay is great!
I'm re doing a lot of stuff; Enemies, Towers, Environment models and adding animations!
And I am also making huge changes to the code and plan to have many new features, but one thing I'm looking forward to adding (And hoping works out) is destructible environments.
Things are holding me back, along with the fact that I'm now changing many of the old stuff.
So Urban War Defense is going to look very different when I am done with this all, but it will be good!
Internet went down (Typical) but I've had time to add more content to the update.
Either done tonight or the weekend.
Tuesday, hopefully, an update at last.
Yup still alive, just busy sorting out things in my life as well.
That's a good idea I'll try that, I've got a few updates nearly done and I still have to do a few more things then I'm going to go ahead and post an article and I've saved some money to get it onto Steam Greenlight. :)
Going to get some more levels added to the alpha, based on beach assaults. Then I plan to work on adding the more features I've wanted to add.
Just sent an update which hopefully fixed the problem, just gotta wait for the approval.
I just tested it on Windows 8 64bit and it was as you described, So I'm going to go ahead and try fixing that asap.
It seems it only works correctly on 32-bit for now.
What OS are you running it on?
I checked it out and the wrench icon did disappear when I changed to graphic settings to "Fastest" (Lowest graphics) while on the highest resolution and the game even stopped responding, however after I restarted the game and tried it again the icon remained. So try changing the graphics settings or resolution if you still don't see it. I will make the Icon and placement tiles more obvious next update but I may actually make it possible to place towers anywhere.
I'll check it out, maybe I've gone and made a mistake somewhere, sorry about that.
Click the green wrench at the bottom left, then place on green glowing rubble piles. Hope that helps :)
They could fight back but I am redoing it, not sure when it will be ready.
I'm totally up for creating a demo version eventually.
The Linux build will be available soon!
On some levels that is how it will play, I plan to have a broad range of environments and game play elements and styles to change with the environments.
Thank you, It's funny I was just testing the Linux build earlier!
One upload to Desura authorized, one more to go!
The camera does a cool think where the scene becomes less bright when you're looking down at something, instead of remaining really bright like this image taken of the town on a sunny day.
Ignore the messed up GUI text.

I'm changing some base gameplay code and redoing the enemies and towers for a more realistic look.
I had lost some code a while back when a hard drive failed, while cleaning out one of my other hardrives I found pretty much the same version of code. Woop!
Thank you, thanks for pointing that one out I will get that fixed.
New Video Uploaded!
Just finished the new flight mechanics, works better than expected and I'm going to upload a new video of them in action
Changed Some music.
Multiplayer support as well of course.
I might as well create a race gamemode involving speeding through checkpoints while avoiding hazards and going through tunnels etc.
