Mounting the horse, the bow i string; Aiming and shooting, my enemies i defeat; travelling and fighting, no rest i did; Unstoppable i am, until triumph has been reached; Unstoppable i am, until my dreams have been achieved; Unstoppable i am, until the world bend it's knees; Thus i march, glory for the hordes! Thus i attack, prepare your bows! Thus i challenge you, no escape you have! Fight us mighty foe, before you had perished! For our might knows no mercy; Nor does know defeat!

Wait... What about the satin fabric? I used to think they used it, sorry, silk is way too expensive. I know that during this time the surcoats were not that common as they were in the 13th century, but still...

Try this: Copy and paste Rome Total War to a seperated folder outside program files 86x (something like "Games"), then you want to copy and paste Alexander Total War files into the Rome Total War folder you just created. After making sure all the three expansions files are there in place (including BI) simply install Roma Surrectum 2.5, RSIII Setup v2 and then RSIII 3.1 patch. This worked for me, i hope this helps and sorry if i didnt explain it well enough :D

not trying to play the hater or to nitpick everything, but the size of the visors... I mean, obviously it was never of that size, you can see it in manuscripts, tapestry works, everything, the visors are thin, very thin.

Is it hard to add new animations like a couched lance animations for european knights? I find that knights charging as cataphracts breaks immersion

King Guy, the indecisive, or maybe the excessive self cautious usurper. This man is blamed for destroying the Kingdom but i never found the reasons behind the fall of Jerusalem to be that simple or just to put ALL the blame on one's shoulder. The Templars at that time were pretty poor on leadership under Gerard de Ridefort who proposed the straight forward march against Saladin at Hattin, the reason behind this obvious strategic error is highly debatable, but i think (like some historians do too) that Gerard de Ridefort desire to rush an attack was because he wanted to have a good excuse for have had robbed the King of England's donations to field his army, and Guy, as an indeniable usurper who only had a small support among the various barons, decided to follow Gerard's strategy as he was afraid to lost the most powerful supporter he had as Gerard was the Grand Master of the most powerful military and monastic order of knights. So Guy heard his friend instead of the opposition out of being selfish, fearing that he would lose the support of the Templars and ending being dethroned by Raymond III of Tripoli and his allies.

yes, probably there was some soldiers wielding bigger spears, but probably not on a uniform order and number, so you couldnt actually apply that tactic without good number of pikes in a unit

KublaiKhan - - 181 comments @ Knights crush through the infantry line!!

Yes, although in this time period spears werent exactly that dangerous to cavalry man as it was later on since the spears werent long enough yet, but the pikemen were truly a pain in the *** in the later centuries
