I'm an ex-student working on my portfolio. I really should have done more while I was at uni, but hey thats life. I think the direction I am going for is environment artist, ergo the corpious amounts of environment objects that I will/post up.

First up the the sci-fi floor that I knocked up quickly. I wanted to take it a whole step further. For the most part it was to get a good clean bake, from a much more detailed high poly model. And well after some reasonably quick texturing here is the end result. Not too bad if I say so myself, though I perhaps need to tone the green down a little.
Next up is what I am currently working on which is a sci-fi corridor. Again this is taking it one step further than before. I am taking what I learned from the Sci-fi Floor MkII, and applying it on a larger scale. Currently I have the whole section modelled fully in the high poly, while I have made a good start on the low poly.
The High Poly section in all its glory. The Low Poly power box, with normal and AO maps. Finally the Low Poly floor (nothing more than a flat plain). Again with normal and AO maps on. Well that's all for this time. I hope that by next time I can show you a fully textured corridor. I'm also going see if I can get round to changing my avatar. Needs to be something more me.
