It's not as active as it once was, not even close to back in it's day.
There are however about 7 servers that are currently up. Game-monitor.com
There's also a Pick Up Game group that holds games every night. Steamcommunity.com
There are a usually a few people playing during key hours, mostly on the on same server though.
We have no DLC currently planned.
It was a mistake, we said it was going to be 75% but we were told that 50% is the maximum discount that we are currently allowed to do. The news post was made and posted before we realised this. We are sorry for any confusion.
I can understand why you may not want to buy the game. However it is just a $3.75 difference.
You should check out Dystopia's PUG (Pick Up Game) scene. They have a steam group. I have seen some games being organised in the evenings (GMT). Steamcommunity.com
Nice. Good work guys, it does seem you have put a lot of blood sweat and tears into the game.
Could you please post this to our getsatisfaction page(https://getsatisfaction.com/bladesymphony) and include a few more details. This will allow us to help you. Thanks.
I'm curious Mkilbride, do you think that Aliens Colonial Marines is worth the price you paid for it?
You have to go on a free-for-all (FFA) server and challenge two players at once. Good luck if you do decide to have a go!
Kickstater backers I encourage you to check your e-mails and kickstarter.

Ah, thanks. Here is the link for anyone else interested. Edharrison.bandcamp.com

Dystopia also gets a mention by Witcher creators CD Projekt in a blog post. Cyberpunk.net***-cyberpunk-games/
You should consider adding it to bandcamp for anyone who wishes to support the artist.
I'm not sure how it can feel jittery when you have not played it yet. :)
It is likely a mixture of the two things, the recording and the fact it is still WIP. Can you give any specific details of what "feels clunky" to you?
I am fairly certain that the beta version we had up for PHAN's to play is still in place but no longer supported. Though I am not sure if any of the servers are still up.
User apokolokyntosis from the PunyHuman forums has kindly listed some of the popular severs.

It seems that server owners can fix the issue by following the instructions in the following thread. Forums.steampowered.com
The problem is Steam related. It is something that unfortunately we cannot fix.
Shame the gifts aren't appearing in all of the previous purchases inventories, again.
I would be disappointed if someone didn't make that.

Good stuff. Kudos to the level of support you are giving to the game.
Does it have anything to do with that Avalanche group?
You really need more Pledge options with different rewards.
Nice, this should make it easier for people to download and play. You guys deserve a lot of credit for the work done to the game since it went opensource.
It's a different group of people from the mod days.
It is no longer going to be a mod, we are raising funds via kickstater to turn it into a commercial game. It has not been released. The price when released will be something around $10 to $20.
The private beta you played 5 months ago is still up, it is just no longer being supported with updates.
