Pirating is wrong for any game. Don't jump on EA (or other) band-wagon releases if your so worried about buying a crappy game. Don't trust trailers with mood music, trust gameplay reviews especially from gamers themselves.
Pirating hurts indie games much more than big name publishers. Unlike some of the larger companies, many listen and depend on their player/fan base. Game development is costly, especially in time. Plus, pirating gives the appearance that people do not appreciate all the hard work that went into the end product. An indie developer can't fall back on sales of dozens of other games to support them either. It hits there pockets and their will to create innovative ideas.

I've been gaming since I was 4. Began playing CNC when it was released in 95, so that explains my game preference. And if you ask me whether Halo or Half-Life is better...Half-Life is ahead by far. You can find me on steam by the same name. I'm a university student, meaning I have more time than ever to play games and waste time. :P
