Apocalypse City

Game review

What I love about this game is it's world. The gritty visuals and the minimal audio work well together in creating a desolate haunting atmosphere.
Gameplay-wise the game get's repetitive soon.

You should try it - the atmosphere is great!

Revelade Revolution - Zombie Survival

Game review

Interesting game with great atmosphere!

what you could do better:
From someone using the same engine you could do a better job at texturing things (mainly add "texture borders" where textures end, e.g. on the edges of houses - for clarification feel free to message me at @tinyworlds). Also some minor flaws as the fire on some burning barrels having a too small radius and floating slightly above.
I also miss the old single player mode, where you explored the level step by step in order to kill all zombies and win the game.

what is really good:
The atmosphere! Both the music and lightening create a very dark mood, I love it.
It's also very interesting to see all the different weapons, with their interesting effects. Especially the grenade launcher effect looks cool!

Keep it up, very interesting game! Have fun :D

Platinum Arts Sandbox Free 3D Game Maker

Engine review

This is my favorite engine.

Pros
Everything is easy to learn and understand, but it's still powerful.
The community is very helpful and it's actively developed.
You can create a variety of games with this.
Cross-platform!

Cons
Mapmodels decrease performance too much.
The Game Design Community/Social Site is not really used.

But overall a very good engine, so I give it 10/10 points.

Z-Cube

Game review

A nice start, but this could really use a good campaign, more game-modes and a Linux native.
I will possibly create a small map for this :)
