there's something wrong with this version, it prevents you from starting a new game. I re-installed the previous version and it works again

(to clarify, the game doesn't CTD on new game, but you can't select faction it does nothing)

Hip is bugged in general i got similar crashes even with no addons

I think the translation is more of an ongoing project. Translation isnt fully complete

It's complicated. First you need a multitool to break down weapons for their parts.

Right click on a gun in inventory and dismantle it for parts. There ar 5 in total. You won't get all 5 from a single breakdown.

Some parts will be worn. You will need to restore them with a file for best results use some oil or an additive you right click on worn component and attempt to restoreit. The same process applies for barrels but you need a ramrod

Once you have the parts you will also need a weapon modification kit and the correct barrel restoration kit. Get from trader

Take all of this **** to a vice clamp gun and then you click on weapon mod kit or barrl. Then click on the image with the green light. 4 parts will work with the weapon mod kit UT the barrel has to be changed with the barrel restoration kit once all five are done... provided you used good parts. The game will rng and you potentially Wil restore a unfrozen rusty to worn. Or worn to new

I loaded an earlier save taken from within the freedom base, it worked for 3 minutes and then crashed the second I walked towards the exit of the base

I'm only playing Last Day now, but is there a way to switch the G36 (not the G36K) back to the scope? the red dot is intrusive and not good for longer range gun

How would one go about changing texture files on this if they wanted to do personal modifications?

On CoM, I didn't like any of the scopes, so I was forced to resort to using the ACOG and 1P29, but I also didn't like the crosshairs / reticules. so I modified them.

I found in Last Day that all files are zipped up in some kind of archive. how would I go about changing those individual textures for the scopes?

Can you bring back more of the scopes from the base COM mod?

there aren't many to pick from to begin with, and the Kobra and EOtechs are extremely jagged, and I personally dont like the blue chevron EOT at all I think it's tacky and distracting, I tried to fix it myself but it appears the chevron is part of the model itself not the texture

I'm trying to modify the reticules for things like the Eotech and Kobra and I can't seem to find the textures involved with it, in game it appears as a red or blue chevron and I really don't like it, but I can't get why the textures associated with them, all have different reticules than in game *the ones that I want*

its almost as if the sights have the reticules as part of the model/mesh, and I'd really like to get rid of it, they seem off center and jagged.

We really were in over our heads, the game had like 3 or 4 serious modders at best.

I only fired up the mod once, I'm waiting for version 9 or whatever you will call it before I start spending a lot of time with it. but I know that the T9 Carv or whatever the default MG for TR was, looked way too big

I reccomend downscaling the size of weapons when you can, I noticed that the TR machineguns are ungodly big

are there any known bugs related to the garbage region, or faction wars in general?

game started crashing a lot after I joined Duty, but I can't tell if the crash is related to the faction wars, a bug with the garbage region , or both.

Part of me thinks that this is happening when Stalkers cross regions, maybe an NPC is entering the region with a bugged item or weapon?
