Dont come here much now, but i like to say "hello" to you and a few others when I do.
Truth is, im saving for a new gaming laptop -my old (this) one is struggling to run games now - so when i do get my new one,.. i might be back here a bit more, looking for mods to any new games I DL, and to update to latest versions of mods for any older games.
So for now, hope you are doing OK.... and maybe i speak to you a bit more in future?

im still here, very rarely.
[Unfortunately] Real life has at last tipped the scales very much in its favour of late, against virtual life... so my online presence is getting less and less.

When ever i make a profile comment or PM to you... You yourself have ALWAYS had the courteousy, respect, and common decency to make a reply (even though you are a busy guy)

For this my friend, I am truly thankful and (in return) filled with respect for you.

Yes, now we both become older... and priorities become different with this.
But you must agree - there are a "core" of oldtime/longtime moddb members to which yourself and i are included.
...And for us, it has been a fantastic site, and great modding "scene" and community over last 10years plus?.

WE ARE PART of a generation that remember when it was ONLY PC games were possible to apply mods to... consoles relied on a CD/DVD ALWAYS! (no steam etc, no downloading game to console in data form!)

Things are SO different now, eh?

Its been a great time,... a great "ride"

And although -as we now agree- our use of this site is lessening, I myself have really loved that "Ride" very much.

More campaign levels in the RA2/yuri universe! and new faction!!

a great excuse for me to continue living into 2017 ;)

The ability to create a complete "mental omega 3.3" game directory with just those 7 essential files copied from from RA2 yuris revenge, and then the mod files and folders is GREAT
I did exactly that, and was able to archive the whole "standalone" thing to a size of 547mb with 7zip, for future (easy) installation
I would recommend this method to all - rather than extracting the mod into the regular red alert 2/yuris revenge game directory
