Hey Kallaikoi,

I have an idea for. M2TW mod based on Heroes of Might and Magic III, but I’m incredibly new to modding and I don’t know where to start. Is there a discord I can join to start finding team members? What tools do I need in order to start modding? Would your team be willing to share some secrets as to how to get started? Any other tips or pointers?

I’m sure you know what it feels like to be faced with a daunting task, especially one that seems huge or impossible, so any help is truly, truly appreciated.

Hello dear sir.

I am sorry to bother you, but steam is acting up when trying to install the new beta. I managed to solve it on 2 computers by uninstalling Medieval II Total War and remove all files from the steam folder for Medieval II Total War, then reinstall the game. When it is reinstalled its really important to start the original game so steam dont update it later. When that is done close the game AND steam and install the mod as said in the FAQ. If you do it this way it will be no problem to play even when steam is acting up.

By doing it this way you will be able to solve all the problems that have occured with steam, atleast that already has ben mentioned since most have them have happened to me while i experimented to solve the issue.
