Hi, I'm using the steam version of the game and I tried to set the launch options but it's still launching the vanilla game.
Any ideas?

Well, I can't give you any release date because Gearbox is going to release a major update for Homeworld Remastered. But we don't know what's going to change and how it will be changed.
That means we can't really work on the game mechanics until the next update :/

We've encountered some issues with Steam, unfortunately. We're working hard to make sure you'll be able to enjoy our demo today, on November 29th. We believe the demo will be available in the afternoon (EST).

Do you have a legal version of the game? 'Cause this issue is known for people who haven't legally bought the game ;)

If everything goes right, yeah you should be able to have some multiplayer experience (but remember it's just a demo).
And it should use SHIFT or LAN (Tunngle, Hamachi, etc...) ;)

Not necessarily, we're "slow" at developing our mods for the remastered version because we're waiting for the big update announced by Gearbox ;)
And we're going to make teams to speed our development. Oh and by the way, the recruitment are still open :p

You'll be able to play to a stable version of the mod. We will probably upload a stable version on the workshop and then update it gradually :)

Yes the City will have it shield like in the series ^^ Same for the Aurora :p We're currently working with gearbox to create/improve our shield system ;)
