the current version is extremely buggy to the point of near unplayability, but you get a free pass with it being Alpha and all.. I'll keep an eye on this because what did work seemed really cool.
My current issues are: seems near impossible to close the map (clicking close doesn't do anything most of the time) and I can't seem to find a way to get out of Helmet view, which, while immersive, is not very playable with that view bobbing on every step.
once the obvious bugs are ironed out I have a feeling this game will be pretty good, as it is, I'm keeping my eye on it
I'm confused... is his complete? I mean... it just ended... have I missed something? taken a 'wrong' route?
if nobody doesn't play this game... then everybody plays this game... double negative :D
Awesome game, about time someone made a proper roguelike fps :)
There's a few things I'd like to see though:
some sort of stat tracking, how many enemies did I kill this playthrough? what enemies? what killed me? what shots did I use? what upgrades did I get? ect... normally in a roguelike it's fun to see these stats after ever run through. Plus a local highscore (number of enemies killed, furtherst floor reached) would help it feel like we're improving at the game.
Also, just a bit more information when loading... starting a new game sort of feels like the game might have crashed or hung, but it's actually loading... just some text like "generating map" would be appreciated.
Having said all that... I love the game, mixing Quake style arcade shooter gameplay with a roguelike is brilliant
