It's hard making the matches perfect and having a counter in your inventory due to the limitations of the script functions that the engine has to offer. It was already hard making them work as they do now so I hope you understand that. We did however reward the player for exploring for about 70% of the explorable areas. Either with matches or with potions. Matches can be hard to find though as the box is pretty small so you might have missed a few ;)

About the custom content. Everyone is free to use everything. From new monsters to custom walls, doors, etc... as long as you credit us as "Red Line Games" for it, so go ahead if you want :)

Hmm that's weird. What kind of version of the game do you have? Steam? If it's a pirated version it won't work. Also make sure you installed this correctly as this is a full conversion mod and not a custom story.

The hinges are definetely not bugged, but I can understand if they gave you a bit of a hard time. Grab the sledge or a rock and try to hit the hinge itself by touching it with the rock/sledge. It won't break by only being hit once so keep that in mind aswell. Keep trying until it breaks

We have tried it on several mid to high end computers now and it didn't lag for us. I don't know how good your PC is but it might be be that or the settings that you're using. If you have SSAO samples real high it will drop your frames alot. I have a high end PC (I5 cpu and a GTX 680) and I use 4 samples, aswell as no paralax which for me makes the game look the same as if I had samples on max and paralax on, except alot more fps.

The new patched version (1.1) should fix the lag in the outside map! Make sure you get it as it fixes quite a few bugs aswell.

Laptops aren't the best gaming platforms to begin with. We did however optimize the exterior as much as we could in the latest patch so make sure you have the latest version (1.1). Another reason why it lags is because of the latest 1.3 Amnesia patch. People have been getting frame drops in other custom stories aswell, and since some of our maps are pushing the HPL2 limits it's even more noticable. We made the exterior even more optimized after the demo and it ran butter smooth, but like I said, for some reason the latest Amnesia patch just tanked the fps on some of the maps :/

Can you tell us in which maps specifically that happened?

If it still doesn't work try reinstalling your game so you have a fresh game with no other mods or custom stories

That is a known bug. We'll release a patch asap and fix it! Can you check if you have a save that you can load before you died?

I think you installed our mod incorrectly as our mod doesn't start like that (we have no room with locked double door and any statues of woman). Please look at the instructions in the news post above and make sure you installed our mod correctly and have no other mods that may conflict.

Thanks for the bug report! We'll try to fix everything asap. I would like to ask though why you thought the matches were crap? They're not as powerful as the lantern but the light source should be strong enough to light up dark areas.

I suggest everyone having as clean amnesia install (with no other mods) as possible to avoid maximum amount of glitches and conflicts with our mod!

Dude, I just checked the outside map and there is no lantern or oil whats so ever.There is no way you found them. Either you messing with me or I don't know...
