My current gaming addiction. Whenever I a little time free on the computer, chances are I'm playing this. Lots of replayability, always satisfying to completely explore the map each time, easy-to-learn simulation/combat mechanics, and some nice visuals and sound design. My only complaint: I wish there were some easy-to-find mods out there.
One of my favourite games of all time, but it's not for all tastes. I won't blame you if you're bored or frustrated by the game's slow pace or refusal to give you straight answers all the time. But if you can get past its flaws and hindrances, you might just find an amazing, beautiful and grim world to explore and survive in, and an experience unlike anything before or since, with a superb atmosphere and aesthetic. This is my personal favourite example of an artistic game.
