When it's ready
At the moment we are focusing on framework of the game, but our game engine does support Oculus Rift if we choose to add in support later on in development. Our development team does not even own an Oculus device yet to develop with.
Reki Kawahara and A-1 Pictures refuse to answer any emails regarding the subject; but- luckily enough- if you do enough research on International Copyright Laws in the related countries, there are ways around an otherwise illegal reproduction of ideas. If we have to modify several elements to make our game unique (which is in the plan anyways), so be it.
I really love SAO so I would love to contribute to this project. I can model in Maya which can export to pretty much any model file (not sure what engine you guys are using, and what model files it supports). I do all the UVs, texturing, rigging, and animating as well if needed. On top of the art, I can also do programming in C#, Java, Javascript, GSC, CSC. Not sure what this game is being made in, but I hope I could help out somewhere, thanks! If you want to check out some of the stuff I've done you can check here: Youtube.com Most of my work I don't upload, but there are some cool things on there.
