It's a travel lock. So the gun doesn't jiggle about and misalign itself during offroad movement.

I sincerely wish you guys were getting paid for the work you do on this mod, it truly is of a professional studio standard.

Anyhow, are there any plans to do anything on the CoH2 engine should they release modding tools? I don't have my hopes set on anything considering how difficult it was to get this up and running for CoH1 in the first place, but I'm just curious.

it'd be cool if you could balance them by giving them limited fuel and ammunition, but afaik you can't do that without extensive coding if at all in the CoH engine?

They actually did create a scratch built tiger replica for this film: Wehrmacht-awards.com

However it was left unused for unknown reasons. The one you see here was based on the is-2, to make it look like the tiger P I imagine.

The 2C is out however, no post war or experimental tanks are going to be included.

It was scrapped after the mod tools were released and the factions were restructured and replanned AFAIK. I wouldn't expect it to make a reappearance any time soon.
