Thanks, there is a lot of work waiting ahead of us. We have a major update planned for the end of October, to add more systems. But the next update is already planned for the coming week.
Thanks! We will start slowly and gather your feedback up with both hands as we progress through Early Access.
Yes, it's small things like changing light and environment sounds. The environment backgrounds are purely there for immersion, whereas we are adding gameplay on things like the side-scrolling sailing screens.
Hi there. They were just added to show the proportions, as we haven't done people props for the villages yet. I would expect shepherds to be more lightly armed. Thorir Throat-Cutter looks like he wants to start Blōt-mōnaþ (Blood Month, November, which was the traditional time of slaughtering animals at the start of winter).
Looking forward to see you on Steam. :)
Thanks for the feedback! We have eight traits which are linked to the event system. We have made a few changes to the names after this design was done. I can promise that none of them will be just decoration in the game. ;) Loyalty has been changed to Sacrifice for example to align better with the game design.
Thanks sir! And very nice mods - as an old Warband player I will check them out.

Cheers! We were really keen to achieve a European comic book look, with influences from classics like Prince Valiant. We will release more details about the gameplay of the full game as we get closer to Early Access.
Thank you! When is TCOTM coming to Greenlight?
Thanks sir. We are not getting distracted - Steam Early Access full steam ahead. Happy Holidays!
Competitions! Throwing the spear, catching the sheep, who has cut off the most ears. You name it, we love it!
Good man! Did I miss the flamethrower animated GIF?
If you haven't done so yet: Off you go and play the demo!
Did you find someone? It would be great to see this group revitalized. There are so many turn-based games being released, and some of them are excellent. ;)
You should consider online co-op. The last time I played 'locally' was local area networked Quake back in ... let's say I was a lot younger back then. Many of us lack local friends, or at least I do. Living in 5 different countries over the last 10 years will do that to you. ;) We are using Photon (via Playfab), which isn't rocket science.
Very valid point. I realized that I like more and more pixel art projects lately than I would have thought 10 years ago.
I have this gut feeling that Death Trash could become the game I wish Wasteland 2 would have been. If that makes any sense. :)
I am just picturing this discussion in German and all the 'Schachtelsätze' we would use. Scary. ;)
Many thanks for the compliment and all the best!
Meine Verehrung! Not a huge pixel-art fan (maybe because I am playing video games since the early 80s), but I think I will really like the humour and the writing.
Thanks for the comparison, and if we are only half as successful as The Banner Saga then we will be ecstatic. But our art has its roots in comics like the original Prince Valiant (Hal Foster 1930s). We then went through a process to modernize and simplify that to develop the style you can see in the characters, items, and environments. Banner Saga uses more of a TV cartoon style. Stoic for example don't use shadows on their characters, as they animate most of them. We decided to forgo character animations, which allows us to add more detail.
Enticed and watching from across the pond. No, not Lake Ontario.
Cheers! We are pushing to have the demo ready before Thanksgiving.
A co-op game with a single shared controller. Imagine that after a few beers and a barbie. Australian football in your living room. I will certainly inform all my antipodean mates.
Thanks for the feedback, it is much appreciated!
We only started to talk publicly about the game and its design principles a few weeks ago. Plus we are a small studio and don't get out much. ;)
