Looks pretty good, guy.
I know the spot you're talking about, and it seems there are some really well hidden secret blocks according to the dev on this gamefaqs post: Gamefaqs.com
I've been enjoying the android version a bit. I know it's supposed to be reminiscent of an older, more hardcore age of RPG but I still YEARN for quest markers on the map, or a compass of some sort. My screen is just so small that it makes finding places kind of hard!
lol, love me some black shades
if you look online there is a "black Shades Elite" someone added a bunch to, basically BS2
ha, reminds me of halflife1, bsp fence and terrible lighting
of course its an alpha map though, just thinking "out loud"
They can?
We must not be playing the same mods, orrr you've put a ridiculous amount of hyperbole into your statement.
The day a 4 map team fortress or dod clone is as good as a retail game, my hat will be eaten
i really only care if its console and pc, if I can run it on pc, even at lower settings than the console, i'll get it. If theres no mods, then **** it, go for console
woo, alright, i'll be good to go on the next theme, stupid real life :(
so.... no more black mesa mods, woo hoo!
No, I think that if you're going to be making a mod you should be making something original, not derivitive crap.
Like every stargate mod, what has stargate added to what boils down to a generic dm with teleporting.
Every starwars mod, what is it besides reskinned dm with swords
It's nice to be a fan and be able to show it through modding, but if you're not adding anything to the IP you might as well just throw your own can of paint on it and call it your own.
use stainmaps instead of blood decals maybe? It's extremely irritating to see decals dissapear, this isn't goldeneye :-P
other than that i've been waiting on a 3d smashtv
honestly, it's a pretty solid game
so why not 1.0 it already?
and yet an adventure game is just an FPS set to third person and given mainly melee weapons, whats so much harder about that? an RPG?- FPS's already have stats, they're just not shown to the player. It's possible for a FPS to have a good plot too, look at games like XIII. It's also possible for adventure games to have ****** plots, look at games like Mario, God of War, Shadow of the Collosus (numerous types of adventures, but i think they all boil down to it in the end, don't they?) And yet, a plot isn't neccessary for a good game even, as evident by most of the above mentioned, and even silly games like tetris and bejeweled
All in all it's no ones place to say what is the hardest to make, although if i had to throw in my vote it would be RTS for finding good balance.
