Definitely overdue, but you know... like a good wine, the longer its overdue, the better it gets... ;)
@damianturnbull thank you for your support and your kind words.
We have an Oculus Rift here and are testing VR Support from the start, it will be tightly integrated later on.
The project is currently in the process of being upgraded to Unity 5. As many new features as it brings, it also takes a lot of time to fine tune and adjust the results of physical accurate shaders.
Not nearly half done with the Singleplayer! Currently upgrading the entire project and so far it's like 5% that I would consider to be final.
Gonna finish Kejim and then see for the rest.
As I said you may use the assets of this project (upon completion) to achieve similar or better results with your engine of choice.
Our own code is not compatible with the OpenJK project.
yes, we are slowly getting the level design done. Then we need to focus on the UI, then the character/weapon design
And so we set sail, through the sea of mod and stars with a new loyal member on board! Far far away, progress is made! ;)
Quite specific your question ;) well then, regarding the entire project I would say 1%, regarding the first sp level I would say 70%
OUr plan is to finish the primary mechanics and the Kejim level, after that we will see.
Working on new shader system, waiting for engine updates, modeling weapons and props, nothing worth showing yet.
Keep the nit-picking coming! Always helps to find issues and stuff that needs to be fixed!
It is a full remake not a texture update. Hence the reason it takes so much more time, also I am doing this in my spare time and last month I wasn't given a single day off work ;)
if you were to make a playthrough in crystal clear HD of every single room/mission with an entertaining commentary then sure why not :)
Would you like me to post an art update, a release or a comment stating: Yep, things are taking their time but it is still active ;)
It is still in the making :)
Well you can try to press Enter or Return on your keyboard :)
Jon took a moment to update the logo, is it now living up to your expectations? :)
Xbox 360 controller (for PC) could be supported easily.
So you followed us from the very beginning! :)
C#, thanks for asking I will add it to the FAQ.
wow, thank you! I am delighted!:)
Thank you for your kind words! Your support is appreciated!
Altureus, I currently only own JK2 Outcast, that's the main reason I focus on this one instead of the others. :)
I would appreciate it! :)
this will be handled when dealing with the actual animation, I will see what I can do (yes I share your experience, the original sword combat felt a bit stiff sometimes).
