I'd rather the super shotgun be ported in all its overpowered glory.
Or heck, Doom Eternal's SSG with a meathook would be great if GoldSRC can handle the grappling hook aspect. Just guessing but you might have to use some code from the OP4 Barnacle.

Old post I know, but I personally do not like this. Infantry are big in the original game for readability's sake so that you can quickly and easily see them among other units and structures. general convention is smaller than real-life scale buildings, and oversize infantry, for readability's sake. I think your mod's change to them takes away from that slightly and it's something I think would be nice as an option instead of a normal feature.
But that's the only thing I've seen from your mod that I don't like. Everything else is incredible work!
NATO in zero hour? Seems a bit odd given the goal of the mod, unless the mod's goals shifted.
Do you have a .zip file version?
The Xen aliens would need custom models and animations. You would likely need a team to help complete that part of the mod as it's quite a lot of work for one person
Mod is prettymuch on indefinite hiatus. I have other things with higher priority in life. But for all those who saw this mod all the way back in 2015ish, and have followed it and supported it, especially considering how little i have to show for it..

Noice. In my opinion though, it is a little too dark. Maybe Just some more lights here and there.
Also if I might suggest, it'd be cool to see headcrabbed Barney Guards serving as stand-ins for the Zombiemen and Shotgunners. The blue barney guard fires a pistol rather slowly while the shotgunners are kind of slow with their spas-12s. Just a thought though as I understand Half-Life's roster doesn't perfectly translate to Doom 1's, not to mention Half-Life's combat is based more on line of sight than mostly dodging projectiles.
I really like how you've made these areas recognizable as parts of Doom 1, but unlike Doom, it actually looks like the rooms serve a real-world purpose instead of purely being hallways and arenas for the game. Really cool!
Following this mod, looks pretty interesting. Hope we can get a demo soon.
Also, will the HD pack be mandatory? Besides the beautiful shotgun model, I don't particularly like it.

Love this addon. Makes the Spas-12 deliciously overpowered like Doom 2's super shotgun, or Doom 2016's super shotgun. And I can finally shoot semi-automatic like every Combine Shotgun Soldier.
Suggestion - have the Sniper Rifle fly out from the sniper's nest when you kill them with explosives. Supplies some ammo and also provides the first gun drop at the end of Ravenholm.
I doubt he would add the Displacer Cannon, or at least functioning exactly the same as OP4. In OP4 it sent you to another section of the map normally inaccessible. Doing the same here would require adding the dozens of existing maps in HL2, which I think it outside the scope of what he wants to do.
Will there be an option to carry both weapons? For those of us who enjoy running around with a hundred weapons lol
#4 and #9 on the EU are incorrect though.
Lucas always viewed the EU as simple fanfiction and was happy to contradict or ignore it when making the movies.
And, for all the great stories in the EU, it's silly to pretend it was all perfect and everything fit together perfectly. It contradicted itself and the movies many times.
Heck, the MOVIES made by Lucas have notable continuity problems between all of them.
The mod download should come an extra folder. The folder contains replacement animations for proper ironsights if you want them. Personally I forgo them since the FEAR-style focus works well enough and I have a model replacement for the shotgun that doesn't support proper ironsights.
Don't use a pirated version. Cough up the 10 bucks and buy HL2 on Steam. Wait for a sale if you must.
I like how it incorporates some elements of the Clone Trooper with the scowl and "face" being a similar shape. Sort of wish they based it off the Sith Trooper of Knights of the Old Republic, but this design is still good and fits with the red motifs of the Final Order.
Also, would have been hilarious had they stuck in a moment where one said "This is official Sith business!"
Doesn't seem to work right. Metrocops attack me and Rebels ignore me and I cannot shoot them, as if they were friendly like in HL2.
Instructions are kind of unclear and hard to read. It also seems odd having to download additional stuff on top of this addon
It seems like a ton of guns advertised in old media isn't present in any release of MMod. Are they scrapped for good or will we get them in MMod V2?
They never worked quite right for me so it's not a big loss for me, but dang, they did look gorgeous in screenshots
This is pretty random, but all these years later I'm rather happy I ended up getting this mod (and I think Domination) noticed by the eventual creator of Half-Life 2 MMod!
Will this replace in-game models or will the new skins be counted as new characters?
