Starting My Game Development Journey Out

My first post, I preferred to post here (Desura) instead of my own blog.

I'm 13 and a gamer by half-heart. I recently had a passion of creating my own games. From then, I researched over the web and finally know about those but not into creating games now. I have to learn programming and also go into 3D modeling and animation.

I'm currently starting with 2D games but fully confused which game engine to choose?
Can you help me in these? And also by listing some resources to learn.

I wish to be a great(est) entrepreneur, blogger, web developer, game developer, tech guy....

So just this much for now. :D

Game Maker is really cool engine, you will get basics of game developing. Then after some finished projects you can learn some programming language (c++ for example).
