Doublequote Studio is small studio based in Bratislava, Slovakia. It was founded in late 2014 by two brothers Ivan and Martin Kozmon with a sole purpose - develop their first indie game called Blood will be Spilled. The first prototype, proof of concept and demo was created with the help of two friends who did the programming. Currently, the team consists of Martin Kozmon - the art director, Ivan Kozmon - game designer & animator, Michal Páleník - lead programmer, Alexander Buzgó - level desigener & writer and Kristián Balaj - programmer.

Thanks! I think that the belt over the chest, being a little loose (like for example pirates have), should move at least a little. Though I agree that I probably overdid it with the beard :D - gonna get rid of that one, thanks for the feedback.

Yeah, I'll talk with guys that do music for us and see if we can prepare something. :)

Yeah, Morricone is definitelly a great inspiration, though it is really a very high level of music - the guy has a whole orchestra.
Apart from that, we really liked the soundtrack of Outlaws (quite old western FPS from Lucas Arts), which is really strongly inspired by Morricone, I think. Then also soundtracks from other great western games like Secret Ponchos or Hard West. If you like soundtracks, and like this kind of music, you should really listen to those. :)

Sorry for the late reply, we've been to a convention with our game for the whole week, so there wasn't much time.
First of all, thank you very much for taking the time to play the demo and writing us feedback. Yes, the tempo of the game appearently seems to be an issue we need to fix, as this was the most frequent complaint. Also the cutscene performance is something we still seem to be unable to fix. :D But we're glad that you liked the things that we ourselves thought to be good - like the reloading or the narrator.

If you'd like, we could add you to our mailing list and could send you some new version of our game for testing and feedback from time to time. So, if you wouldn't mind playing around with sometimes pretty unpolished ideas, send us an email to howdy@bloodwillbespilled.com

Thank you for taking the time to elaborate. We really try to incorporate as many spaghetti western elements into the gameplay as possible, though there are also some things that are probably expected from platformers. We love the genre too and try to do them justice. :)
We should have a public playable demo ready in a month or so, maybe you can try It out then and see how you feel about it. And yeah, we're already fixing the jumping, we hated it too. But thanks again for the feedback, we really appreciate it.
