Never mind - it was happening across all my saves, for some reason.

Started a new game and everything seems fine so far, but... yeah.

Anyone else getting absolutely terrible performance in Rostok? Not really framerate lag, more the game freezing for a couple of seconds every second or so.

Game runs fine otherwise as far as I can tell.

I know this is a late reply and stuff, but there's a Steam group you can join: Steamcommunity.com that posts event notifications whenever there's a decently populated server running. Seems that servers are up relatively frequently, too.

There's also this group: Steamcommunity.com that seems to do events fairly regularly. Not sure though, I just got invited after playing a few rounds on their server today.

That really killed some of the atmosphere of SoC and CS for me. So annoying to find a stash, but have it be conveniently empty because Vadim Flea or whomever hasn't popped his clogs yet.

Yeah, no worries - reinstalled and it's all good.

Great mod, was always annoyed at the lack of weapon variety and authenticity in the base game.

Gunshot sounds seem to come about half a second after pulling the trigger, anyone else getting this or is it just me? Going to try reinstalling anyway.

The map is supposed to be invisible, not sure about your other problem though.

Artifacts were effectively disabled in 1.1 and they're only good for money and weighing yourself down. IMO it was one of the worse choices made, but seeing as I never use artifacts anyway it doesn't bother me too much.

Go to gamedata>config>creatures and open "actor.ltx" in notepad or something. Change "psy_health" from 0 to 0.001. Do the same for "psy_health_sleep".

Don't think you can actually suppress a PPSh, otherwise though you just drag the suppressor onto the weapon.

I concur, a sitrep would probably allay a lot of the impatience some people are feeling.
