I am very sad to see this project go. but I do understand. making games is hard. and sometimes you just give up on a certain project. I hope you're doing well though still, follow your dreams.
crisis response is still a good game, but its sad that unfortunately he gave up on it.
I believe the guy either passed away (although unlikely) or just stopped working on it and left altogether, which i assume its the latter since making REALISTIC gory games can be difficult since pretty often you gotta view real footage for references.
From what I've heard, he's a dev for Ready Or Not now.

really a shame. The game was really fun even though it was still pretty simplistic.

what happened to Crisis Response ?
Game's gore got too complex, was an *** to code and kept causing many errors. After a lot of this he just gave up on the game and abandoned it.
