Looks ok for the price, but i won't be buying it due to the controls - it was developed for mobile devices - touch screens.

At least when porting it, it would have been nice to see the control mechanics done better for that reason no sale.

As for the C 64 logo, back then we didn't support ppl who made sub par games and still do not, and we payed for a game wether it was AAA or not, if it was free then we got it for free - if not it was labeled shareware which brings to mind this game, to me having to say a game is free then saying you can get a premiuim account by buying features via coins is because you are not confident in marketing this as a sellable game i assume.

As i said i would rather just pay for a game, unfortunately this game looks fun (i would have payed glady for it) but i am not going to due to the payment cheme (sic)..

Ughh have to register to play, sorry but i would jsut rather buy a game not have a so called free game where i need to sign up to play and or buy "features"..

Hmm looks nice, but two things strike me.

1. Server location'(s) are the limited ot EUR / US only - this is a killer for me if it is as pings over 100ms means noteable latency and unplayable multiplayer.

2. The cost per month (even if buying a 6month sub) works out to about $11.50 a month or so, for a premium account

- i.e. Is this another f2p model with lack of worldwide servers and premium means enjoyable wehre as free client means crippled?

You do realise this game is still in alpha stage, thus any complaints about the game being unfinished are moot...

being a Beta or Alpha doesn't mean it is finished the devs are working on it with limited resources they continue to pimprove it and support a modding community and listen to the fans fo the game for changes or such as asked or talked about.

Supporting this kind of progression iis in a gamers best interest, being an impatient whinger helps no one.

Hmm looks like there really is only one or two types of enemy, hack and slash with limited enemies is gunna get a bit long in the tooth

Reminds me of lemmings but a top down version with a bit more strategy to boot, looking forward to trying the demo.

And you are apparently on another client then on desura, funny that how nobody uses it..

It is more likely that people are pretentious and or like keeping up with the jones's as the saying goes, i run Desura through steam and ppl say to me "what is that game" so i link them to desura.

I would rather desura any day it is a much mroe intuitive client interface and greenlight etc is essentially just alpha funding that desura has, alot of what desura does gets copied and that isnt a bad thing it just means desura has smarter ppl working on it.

weird i loaded the game, got a error (first one i have come across that shows in a error window) and it says the following:

Switching to resolution 720x480 failed, trying lower one
Switching to resolution 640x480 failed, trying lower one
Switching to resolution 640x480 failed, trying lower one
All resolution switches have failed
Screen: could not switch resolution (800x500 fs=1 hz=0)

Then the game loaded, in fullscreen i pressed ESC the game then shows the menu in window mode as u said and works after in fullscreen.

agreed, it is the one thing holding me back from buying it so far.

I got the demo update but i still do not see anything under new game.

Is there perhaps a .cfg file i can edit to customise my resolution or such that will allow the UI to show?

Looks really fun, and i like the bosses they look fantastic.

My resolution is 1920x1200 @60 Hz with a 16:10 aspect ratio.

Specs:

Nvidia 570 GTX 1280MB - 306.97whql driver revision.
Intel core i5 750 series 4 x 2.66GHz
8GB DDR 3 dual channel
Windows 7 x64 Service pack 1

The demo loads but when i select "new Game" it asks me to scroll side to side to choose a lvl, but the box that is supposed to display the lvls is empty.

I would appreciate any feedback on why this is please.
